Which means the walls are doing their job. So if we shut down more areas with walls we narrow the area of incursion. That is the whole point.

"Trump is very confused when it comes to his border wall"

Not only is he confused . Only a total and complete idiot would think or believe that a 'wall' is going to prevent migrants from entering the country. But there you have it.

This picture shows why I always say that the wall is just a component of border security

It as to be back up by sensors and cameras so the BP agents can respond to invasions like this before they can disappear into the country

Sensors shmenors. Don't talk to me about sensors. When I was stationed at Nakhon Phanom AFB in Thailand, we had sensors planted up and down the Ho Chi Minh trail. The Pentagon generals had this big interdiction scheme thinking it would an aid in stopping the supply of manpower, weapons and ammunition to the North Vietnamese troops fighting the war in South Vietnam. They were wrong. And you are wrong. Cameras? Right. Cameras can damaged in various ways becoming useless as well.

That post shows how desperate Liberals really are. You would use a business metaphor Trump used to motivate individuals in the business world to be more assertive and think you can convince people he was talking about a wall on the border. Very telling.

Most of which happen in Democratic gun controlled cities. You forgot that part.

That's nice blather and all. But can you cite any studies, reports or other empirical evidence to support your claim? If not your statement is null and void.

That's not proof that 'todays' sensors or cameras will work in preventing migrants from entering this country. I'll bet those Pentagon generals I mentioned in a previous post, thought the technology of the day of the sensors they were provided with was advanced over what was previously available. But alas they proved to be ineffective in stopping the supply of manpower, weapons and ammunition to the North Vietnamese troops fighting the war in South Vietnam.

Sensors by themselves cannot stop the intruders

But they can notify Border Patrol mobil reaction forces to go pick them up

Sure we can do it all. We can address visas, border crossings, e-verify and people already here.
But that would be a real solution. Trump doesn't want a real solution.

Too bad it is not that simple. Once they get here, we keep running into that pesky constitution which keeps law enforcement from asking for proof that they are legal. Then we have sanctuary cities which causes even more problems.

All those problems nearly go away when you do the whole package.

Oh. That is interesting. You make it sound so simple. We have a very nice Mexican restaurant. We like the owners and I suspect they are legal. However, they have a continuous stream of new employees. I doubt that they are all legal. Should we require e-verification proof for them and all the other businesses in my city? We can't require them to do it and not all the others.

All that is futile if you don't stop the influx at the border. It has to start at the border.

Do your city and all cities. Put that together with some work visas and your owners will never know the difference.
I'm not arguing we don't need work on the border, but I would start at the ports.

It already is and also Trump wants funds for that. The only holdup are democrats that now say the border wall is immoral after voting billions before to build walls. The democrats are not even interested in DACA thrown into the bargain.

600 come, 600 go. It's all about jobs.

    upload_2019-1-13_19-19-40.png
Take away the jobs. Much faster, much cheaper.
But to do that you need a package.
