On his personal taxes - "I'm under a routine audit and it'll be released, and as soon as the audit is finished it will be released ..." . ( from the first Presidential debate). Well, the audit was finished quite some time ago.

And lets not forget when he said he was in Time Magazine 'like 20 times' when it was only 14 times, or how he said he literally stacked hamburgers a mile high!

    So many 'lies'!!!!

    • Flamebaiting (Rule 2/3)
    <Rule 3>
Total tax, not refunds (which are meaningless numbers) is what matters. The article hides the truth in the middle which is par for the course for those lying media scumbags:

"...the changes complicated payroll withholding, so that not enough money was withheld by employers in many cases..."

    <Rule 2/3>

Good list actually, it is all work in progress, Trump has proved that he is dead serious about these and other issues and fully committed to getting them accomplished. Unlike his lying predecessors (both dems and republicans) he is actually working his heart out trying to get them done and deliver on his campaign promises despite the sabotage of the Washington swamp. So far it's A+ for effort, B for execution and B+ for results. Not bad after just 2 years in the office.

Them's called "weasel words". Trump SAID we would all get lower taxes. Analysts said "yeah, for the first year".

Trump lied. The analysts were right. You lose.

LOL!!!!! You're covering and carrying water for a lying loser! It would be more funny if it weren't so serious.

Muslim ban? Work in progress? Hardly.

Repeal and Replace ACA? Work in progress? He has no plan and neither do the Republicans.

Deport 11 aliens Day One? Work in progress? Is this still Day One?

Build a Border Wall? It isn't going to happen. How about "make Mexico pay for it"? LOL!!!!!

Fix US Deficit? Work in progress? Hardly. The "work in progress" on that is a huge increase in the deficit and debt!

Force Iran into new nuke deal? Work in progress? Hardly. Doing nothing about it because he's too preoccupied with avoiding impeachment and prison, at which he will also fail.

Have nuke deal with NKorea? Work in progress? Kim took him for a ride and is now making more nuclear progress than ever.

    Not doing well there Borat.

Luv the underlying archival pursuit of the OP, albeit not the scurrilous 'got ya' motivation behind it

    - accountability for those in positions of power
    - history informing our formulative views on those in power & the veracity of their words.
    - knowledge base to be tapped into
    etc. etc.

When I imagine the mounting tsunami of objective reasons for reelecting trump after this term, I am grateful for OP's such as this one, lol. :) G-job Kode

The audit up to 2008 was finished, that's when they started the most recent one.

He is basically always under audit.

By the way, he was totally cleared on that last one.

    Something interesting on this list.

“Tax cuts, regulation cuts by far the most that anybody’s ever got, biggest tax cuts.”

    Fact Check:
Trump’s tax cut amounts to nearly 0.9 percent of the gross domestic product, meaning it is far smaller than President Ronald Reagan’s tax cut in 1981, which was 2.89 percent of GDP. Trump’s tax cut is the eighth largest tax cut — and even smaller than two tax cuts passed under Barack Obama.

So where were you guys when Obama cut taxes for the wealthy even more than Trump did?

    Hmmmmmm?

After Reagan's tax cut he ended up raising the debt by 178% - The largest since WWII.
Obama and Congress were trying to stave off a full on depression.
Trump's only interest in this tax cut was to pay for next wife.

I'm sure it was fine ...
What we really want to know is where his loans are coming from and how large they are. THAT'S where the conflict of interest comes in.
Republicans made Jimmy Carter put his Peanut Farm into trust because they were afraid of conflicts of interest from the Agriculture Dept.
Trump has been treated like a ****ing emperor in comparison.

Obama (with your explicit support) left Reagan in the dust by adding more to the national debt than 43 presidents before Obama did combined... And unlike Reagan, Obama more than doubled the debt without giving the Americans a tax cut, without growing the economy, without increasing the wages, without improving healthcare, without creating high paying jobs, without any positive achievements whatsoever.... Well done Obama, well done libs! Duh :(

Sorry, but according to the Dept. of the Treasury, you are blowing smoke out your ass.
The debt was $11.65 trillion at the start of Obama's first fiscal year.
Obama added $8.58 trillion during his two terms.
Trump has added another $2.4 trillion in his first two years.

    Those are the official numbers.

On January 20, 2009, when he was sworn in, the debt was $10.626 trillion.
On January 20, 2017, when he left, it was $19.947 trillion.

Not splitting hairs. OFFICIAL Dept. of Treasury numbers because the budget was already passed BEFORE Obama took office. It's ALWAYS measured by fiscal year for EVERY President. You can't blame (or credit) a President for budgets passed before they are in office. That would be stupid.

Conflict of interest no longer applies to the president of the United States.

You may want to research certain laws congress has passed.

    lol

If you are too lazy or afraid I may post it for you tomorrow.

No law, you are right for now ( there is a Presidential conflicts of interest bill in the House right now) but this is something where public opinion would play a larger role. If it is shown that Trump has opened himself to foreign debtors, then he is susceptible to black-mail or coercion by those foreign entities. It would put him one step closer to possible impeachment - or at the least, make the Republicans look more corrupt.
