Bernie Sanders has thrown the DNC into a complete hysteria. Will they actually allow a socialist to run inside their party or do they already have a candidate they want to try and unseat Trump? Sanders is a nightmare for Democrats because if he runs under the DNC, he loses automatically. If they don't allow him to run and he runs under "Independent" he steals millions of votes needed to get the DNC candiate elected. Either way, they are in a lose-lose situation. I hope the DNC lets him run under Democrat. He has absolutely no hope of winning and bringing socialism to America. What an intersting delimma. Do any progressives/Democrats have any insight to what they will happen with Sanders and the DNC? Lots of Bernie supporters out there and he fund raise with the best of them.
Sanders had enough support in 2016 that he could have easily beat Trump if he had been the candidate in 2016. So I wouldn't be surprised if he won this time.
Hugh Hewitt said this morning that he is chairman of the Republicans for Sanders in 2020 campaign committee.
I actually think he could have beaten Hillary and maybe he even did. But the DNC rigged it so that Hillary got the nomination, no matter what. Then she stole all the money he raised and used it in her own campaign. Will the DNC do that again with Joe Biden or another favored candidate? As far as beating Trump or any other Republican candidate in 2016, not so sure. Not too many Democrats are willing to sell out for socialism. It has some young grass roots but not enough in the mainstream to overcome Capitalism. Not yet, at least.
A great example of hyperbole is "Bernie Sanders has thrown the DNC into a complete hysteria." He is one of about two dozen candidates, everyone of them better than Trump.
I'll vote for him in the primaries to make sure he gets on the ballot. Having him win the DNC nomination would be awesome. I don't think the DNC lets him on the ballot unless they plan on rigging the primaries again just to steal his campaign funds.
If he runs as a democrat he is likely to be defeated in the primary. That is what happened in 2016. No need for you be afraid of an old white haired socialist. Americans aren't going to elect a socialist. I promise.
I am not afraid of him, I am actually curious what progressives/Democrats think about him running as a Democrat as opposed to an Independent. Will the DNC actually let him on the ballot? If Hillary and the DNC had not rigged the primaries, he may have upset her and he may have been the Democrat candidate in 2016.
Nothing new in what Sanders is doing or how the Democratic party will respond. This is not opening night. The play is pretty much frozen. Look elsewhere for news.
I don't know. With the super delegates it is hard to say since they seem to be the ones who pick their candidates, not the voters.
Personally, I want Bernie to get the Democratic nod in the Presidential primaries. He's got so many skeletons and crazy statements that any Republican (even Trump) will beat him like a drum.
Bwahahahaha! That's a hoot. I am hoping he is the candidate. The clueless elitists have no idea about the rest of America.
What in the world are you talking about? "Allow" him to run? Who wouldn't "allow" him to run? This is the Democratic Party, remember? Not the Trump Dictatorship Party. And, BTW, this is the 21st Century. The right is so desperate they need to make up the weirdest scenarios to try to give their boy a chance. The scenario they should be making, though, is one in which he's not in jail. But that one would be too fantastic even for them.
The DNC. He is not actually a Democrat. The Democrats will most likely let him run, gather his campaign funds, then rig the primaries against him like they did the last time. Take his money and flush him down the toilet. Old Communist Bernie is too stupid to get it and the DNC (organized crime) knows it. The DNC needs his money and will just outright steal it....again.
Um-hmm.. I know it's the weekend. But the green stuff doesn't agree with you very well. I'd lay off for a while, if I were you. Just a suggestion.
