Obviously I don't know how to respond to multiple postings in one post. So, Warren doesn't want open borders, she wants immigration handled by Civil courts instead of federal courts. AOC - I'd like to read a source. Booker - I doubt he would escort someone across with MS 13 on his forehead.

The civil courts are still federal courts, just not criminal courts, and thus decriminalize the act of entering the US illegally.
Why would anyone want to decriminalize breaking the law?

The Left have stopped caring about ideas and gone full about people, and people only. They are losing on the marketplace of ideas because they don't represent theirs anymore.

 

Overall, the Republican Party has DEVOLVED from the party formed to stop slavery in America to the party of white supremacy in America. That's proof that evolution is multi-directional--not always toward higher states of being.

This is essentially an argument between Republicans. The look on Romney's face says it all. I come from a state where Republicans like Romney have governed for much of the past century. Schwarzenegger's likability meant he served 2 terms as governor of a deeply blue state. There have always been differences on policy/ opinion but the funerals of McCain and Bush, Sr included many Democrats mourning. Americans mourn the decency we once had and hold Republicans responsible to take action like they did with Nixon.

George Will points out that Trump may/ or may not be a racist. But read what this former-Fox News writer said today:

I disagree with you. I think there's every reason to think trump is that dumb. He talks without a moments thought about the repercussions of his statements. It's kind of a sobering thought to know this fricking idiot is making strategic decisions for our country.

 

If Californians stayed in California I would not care about them. The fact that it is so unlivable that they are fleeing it into good states and infecting them is the problem. The fact that the multinationals are fleeing is even worse.

Honestly, I think that it's for no other reason than he ran as a Republican. The Clintons didn't have a problem hanging out with him back in the 90's when he was a D. The fact that he doesn't speak well makes him an easy target but I don't think Dems hate him more than they hated either of the Bushes or Reagan. They don't hate him more than they hated all the old people holding signs during the Tea Party protests.
