Ironically, that's exactly what I was thinking.

    Keep the dream alive.

That is a bold lie you just threw in here. Democrats have never been on record saying that obstruction of justice is not an impeachable offense. Of course, it is. It's a ******ned felony no less.

As you may or may not have noticed (intentionally), Trump has stonewalled every Congressional investigation to date. Even more evidence of obstruction of justice.

Yeah, Clinton, Mueller, the FBI and all the intelligence agencies couldn't find anything.....but Nadler and Schiff are going to be your champions.

But they did, that's my point. Mueller found at least 10 instances of possible obstruction of justice that he LEFT TO CONGRESS to investigate because that is their job, OVERSIGHT of the Executive Branch.

    LoL.

"He tried to stop us from investigating the allegations we created against him, we'll charge him for that".

I'm glad everyone will be able to look back at this 20 years from now and laugh their asses off at the Russia, Russia, Russia proponents.

You may not have noticed but Congress is demanding testimony that they are not entitled due to separation of powers and executive privilege. Hope Hicks testified last week about campaign matters and refused on the internal deliberations. But they ALL testified without restriction to Mueller and no criminal charges brought.

What exactly is it you think partisan members of Congress are going to discover that career prosecutors, 19, and career FBI agents, 40, did not?

    Try again

Give me one crime that any criminal investigation has determined, not your conjecture.

No he didn't else he would have said so and the AG and DAG and OLC agreed. It is not the job of Congress to be criminal investigators, they are partisan hacks not unbiased criminal investigators and the DOJ nor Mueller has the authority to turn over criminal investigations to them. In fact it is just the opposite, if Congress in a hearing discovers a possible crime they have to refer it to the DOJ for investigation and prosecution. Recall the Clinton email server and classified information being stored and transmitted with gross negligence. That was turned over to the DOJ.

I think Clinton would and his charges included perjury in a federal court and before a grand jury. Democrats said OOJ does not rise to the level of impeachment. What leg do they have to stand on here?

Perhaps it's time for Don to beef up his post presidency legal staff.

AP-NORC poll: 62% disapprove of how Trump’s handling his job

    https://www.apnews.com/1ad13f32984a4480a45738ead2b4c0d8

NEW YORK (AP) — About 6 in 10 Americans disapprove of President Donald Trump’s overall job performance, according to a new poll released Thursday by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, which finds some support for the president’s handling of the U.S. economy but gives him weak marks on other major issues.

Just 36% of Americans approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president; 62% disapprove.

The numbers may be ugly for a first-term president facing reelection in 14 months, but they are remarkably consistent. Trump’s approval rating has never dipped below 32% or risen above 42% in AP-NORC polls since he took office.

Prove what? That there is a doctrine of executive privilege, that has to be proven to you?

Yes, there is. But it has limitations. Don has claimed absolute privilege over things that are not covered by executive privilege. It's one thing to protect the confidentiality of internal deliberations in the WH and quite another to uniformly block Congress' access to witness testimony and documents because they might reveal criminal behavior.

So, once again, prove to me that the material and witness Congress wants are protected by EP.

Not with his immediate advisers and legal counsel. But the fact remains they all did testify to the Mueller investigation and Congress has that testimony. Hicks testified to Congress last week concerning matters not under executive privilege.

The chance of Trump ever being indicted is zero to almost none. I cannot visualize any US Attorney who could convince any grand jury to issue any indictment. Getting an indictment takes tons more than arm waving and foaming at the mouth.

Every prosecutor knows they could indict a ham sandwich. "Indict" means nothing.
