Trump says Justice Brett Kavanaugh should ‘start suing people’ after new report of sexual misconduct

He should be. The story is unbelievable, uncorroborated and doesn't even make sense.

Since we’re walking down memory lane by looking back at the disgusting effort to destroy Brett Kavanaugh, it is worth reminding ourselves about what was at stake in that perverted effort to weaponize the nomination process for partisan ends. Kavanaugh himself summarized it eloquently. Dismissing as groundless ‘smears’ the cornucopia of allegations that had been fabricated like little ju ju dolls to destroy him, he went on to note that such evidence-free allegations not only ‘debase our public discourse,’​

‘they are also a threat to any man or woman who wishes to serve our country. Such grotesque and obvious character assassination — if allowed to succeed — will dissuade competent and good people of all political persuasions from service. As I told the committee during my hearing, a federal judge must be independent, not swayed by public or political pressure. That is the kind of judge I will always be. I will not be intimidated into withdrawing from this process. The coordinated effort to destroy my good name will not drive me out. The vile threats of violence against my family will not drive me out. The last-minute character assassination will not succeed.’​

This is the blockbuster "new allegation" against Kavanaugh. Except it's not actually new. It was shopped to Senate Democrats at the time and they apparently found it impossible to nail down, so they ignored it - the same Senators who found the "rape boat"…

And the investigation? You have nothing to say about the investigation? You know - the one that the FBI “conducted,” but didn’t bother to question any witnesses who could have corroborated Ford’s story?

 

Max Stier is one of those witnesses.

His story is massively absurd and not believable

The Senate did a thorough investigation after the confirmation and found no merit to any of the allegations

There were no witnesses to corroborate Fords story. Every witness identified DISPUTED her.

No witnesses, no evidence , no history of sexual assault, no perjury no anything.

The hands of the investigators were tied by the White House. Trump and all the GOP Senators who commented before remembering to circle the wagons found her credible. But then they remembered that they hated Democrats more than they loved the truth, and suddenly they decided that she was..."inconsistent." They refused to interview witnesses who could have verified her claims. Even as he was being seated, there were multiple ethics violation cases open against Kavanaugh, but they were all dismissed because, hey, he was on the Supreme Court and so the people conducting the investigations no longer had any jurisdiction over him.

The WH gave the FBI a list of 8 people they were "allowed" to interview. Not one of those people were on the list of those whom Dr. Ford said could corroborate her story. Not one. Dr. Ford herself was not on that list, and the FBI never interviewed her. The interviews of those who the WH "allowed" took less than 3 days.

Add to that Lindsey Graham's dismal theatrics as he tossed out the "lawyer" who'd questioned Dr. Ford and when Kavanaugh was back threw questions like he was Kavanaugh's personal lawyer doing a direct examination, testifying through those questions, making statements and a closing argument, then gaveling the hearing closed.

It's that "investigation" that should be investigated... except that the WH and the DOJ will continue to obstruct, block, and corruptly control that "investigation" too. The extent of obstruction and corruption will probably not be revealed in my lifetime; but eventually it will be revealed, and I hope that steps will be taken to keep this kind of authoritarian slap in the face of our constitutional republic from ever happening again.

 

AND, NO investigation of witnesses by the FBI.

Every witness Ford named was in fact questioned and not ONE corroborated her story


No one obstructed and no reasonable person found ford credible. But she has been proven to have been politically motivated

The attempted assault on the constitution was from fascist democrats who attempted to suspend presumption of innocence and run a confirmation like a medieval witch hunt

 

And all of the allegations were investigated by the senate who found no merit to them proving your accusations against Kavanaugh are false and the dems attempted a witch hunt
