And Superheroes are just comic books, but they dominate the billion dollar movie industry now.

Anime have actual STORIES within the YA genre, I first became interested when I saw Sailor Moon back in the 90's. They had a minor character suddenly become major and then have to deal with the loss of their first love through DEATH. Heavy stuff for a 14 year old.

fine wines and cigars... I suppose I am just not sophisticated enough to tell the difference in them and regular wine and stogies, I don't like either; AND I only like one kind of beer... ice cold beer.

Ren and Stimpy and Beavis and Butthead aren't anime.

Most start to become conservative when they start to have their own families, if they grew up in healthy environment.
You want your kids to experience what you experienced growing up - having a traditional family (female mom, male dad), possibly a pet, a house, you don’t want drugs in your area to corrupt your kids, you don’t want crime, you want decency, people not to swear in public, no consumption of alcohol/drugs in public, no homelessness with open urination/defacation.

That’s why conservatives support strong police presence, strong rules governing morale, minimum drugs/alcohol, fewer homosexual, etc.
Also, you must admit it - many liberals love to live in conservative suburbs. They are safe, lots of Starbucks, Whole Foods and great, safe malls with places for kids to play. And those are the places that allow conceal carry and are ruled by conservatives.

Something else I don't get is why "conservatives" make up such simplistic fallacious assumptions about liberals.

Another thing I don't get is why "conservatives" place the blame for the abject failures of their fiscal malfeasance policies on liberals.

Whatever happened to the concept of taking responsibility for your actions?

The GREED OBSESSION cost millions of hardworking Americans not only their jobs but also their homes, their lifestyles, their futures, their families and so they ended up as homeless substance abusers as a CONSEQUENCE of that conservative fiscal malfeasance greed obsession.

So why aren't "conservatives" taking responsibility for all of the harm that they have caused to our fellow less fortunate Americans?

    I just don't get it.

Liberals support all those things. We don't harass homosexuals and arrest people for swearing unless it's outrageously loud but that's really the only difference.

Relatable to WHAT? Ren and Stimpy is possibly the most twisted cartoon ever written, except for South Park

We are conservative because history has shown that's what works.. all of the liberal agenda has been tried in the past and failed.

The US Constitution was a "liberal agenda" idea and it has been a resounding success as have all of the subsequent liberal "agenda" ideas like freeing slaves, stopping the exploitation of child workers, giving women the vote, civil rights and gay marriage.

If it were up to "conservatives" we would still be singing God Save the Queen.

    Yes,Thomas Jefferson was a " Liberal ". But there's a huge difference
    between a " Liberal " and a " Leftist ".
Dennis Prager has YouTube videos explaining in great detail.
As did Dinesh D'Souza with his book and Documentaries.
Michael Moore is No Liberal. He's a flaming Leftist agitator.
    Not even an activist.An Agitator.
Daniel Patrick Moynihan was a Liberal.Senator Bill Bradley and
Sam Nunn were Liberals. There are few and fewer Liberals in the
Democrat Party. The proof is virtually all around us every hour of every day.

Yes, liberals do vary across the spectrum just as conservatives do.

But none of that alters the undeniable fact that the US Constitution was a LIBERAL IDEA and that it has been a resounding success.

Talk about looniness.Just look and California. No finer example.
Once run by Republicans or Conservatives with the Likes of Ronald Reagan
and way before that *Richard Nixon as Senator.
Look at is today.Definitely the polar opposite of what Al Jolson
sang about { has arguably The Largest Cemetery plot in California }.

    * Congressman,then Senator,Vice President,President.
Plus his lovely Library in Yorba Linda where he grew up.
Nixon proclaiming ... " No one will ever write a book about
    my Mother.But ... she was a Saint. "
There are arguably very few saints left in California. Can't blame
that on a New Yorker Real Estate magnate.

You are arguing that Liberal means Progressive or Better.
Let me quote how that train of thought disintegrates. It's like
maintaining that a public or universal education is best. When
no one really believes or adopts that logic.Because it doesn't add up.

" Universal education is the most corroding and
disintegrating poison that Liberalism has ever
invented for it's own destruction. " -- Guess who ?

" Liberalism is extremely harmful. It is a corrosive
that disrupts unity " -- Guess who ?

" By Liberalism I mean false liberty of thought,or the exercise
of thought upon matters,in which, from the constitution of the human
mind, thought cannot be brought to any successful issue, and therefore is
out of place.Among such matters are first principles of any kind. "
    -- John Henry Newman { English cardinal,writer } 1801-1890

We agree, the content that followed can best be described as "looniness" since it made no sense whatsoever.

When? Where?. History shows conservatism NEVER works. That's why it's CALLED conservatism and why people always move on from it eventually when the problems of the present become that much worse than the difficulties of change, it's the politics of inertia.

Hollywood being the best indicator.Mostly run since the
early or Golden era by Liberal Moguls as written about recently
by David Welky on - The Moguls and the Dictators -.A fascinating
new exploration as to what being a Liberal in Hollywood meant during
    WWII and Hitler's reign.
It was pretty obvious the Liberalism of a Henry Fonda but not
necessarily Burt Lancaster who was just as Liberal if not more.
Or the Greatest in any role of true Conservative Jimmy Stewart
but not so much someone like an Adolphe Menjou { always
dapper don actor with a distinct strong voice }.
Or todays Conservatives Jon Voight and Clint Eastwood.
Versus Big Mouth Liberals Robert De Niro and behind the scenes agitator
    Rob Reiner.
Mel Gibson being forced to flee Hollywood { basically } due to
unrelenting peer pressure ever since Directing a very Christian Movie.
Hounded every since Directing - The Passion of the Christ - { 2004 }.
Then again it's NOT Liberals like Fonda or Lancaster we're talking about
today. But Flamers and Authoritarian Lefties like Reiner and De Niro.
    Huge difference.
Like the difference between a sparkler and a cherry bomb.
    Got it now ? { rhetorical }.

As if Rob Reiner and Robert De Niro don't make complete
fools of themselves on a weekly basis. They are the Straw man of
Hollywood.Where even their fallacy reeks of fallacy.

She Was Country but got Co-opted by a virulent strain in the
music industry.Where Country was treated as if Hollywood Icons
and rewarded { compensated } like out the wazoo.
It used to be that a Country Music maker HAD to pay their dues.
Like Old Hollywood and the Golden Age.
But with technology and new gidgets & gizmos our Culture has
been converted and corrupted by a Lifetyles of the Rich and Famous
bent.To the detriment of Society on a whole.Like Professional
athletes and 7 car garages, swimming pools and Mansions.
That is what Trump is up against. The Riches mindset of Washington D.C.
Bureaucrats. They want their summer homes and wine cellars and
expensive vacations.John Boehner is a classic example.
Grew up dirt poor sweeping out the tavern his dad ran which was
underneath their residence. The along came Obama and Boehner
got sucked-in.Boehner pledging when he ran for Congress in 1990
that he would never take { use } Earmarks.
