And remember: Trump has us at war with EVERYONE ~ even our allies. And, of course, all your bets are off if China gives President [Quid-Pro-Quo]Trump some manufactured dirt on the Bidens (that's a product from China he wants to buy!).

 

Trump has to convince everyone the Mueller Report was part of a plot against him, in order to justifiably pardon people such as Flynn, Manafort, and possibly Roger Stone, should Stone be convicted in his November trial. Why? Because they still hold the keys to link him to the Russian election interference. Start connecting the dots.

The Manufacturing index fell this low in 2016 and I don't remember you saying that Obama "needs to go". What's up with that?

 

The manufacturing employment gauge fell in 2016. This is the factory production income...the lowest for ten years, or 2009 at the end of the recession. Reductions in employment usually follow slow-downs in production. Many economists are predicting a downturn...as the temporary boost in the economy resulting from tax cuts and deregulation wear off. Why? Probably because wages aren't rising as fast as expected, which fails to create "effective demand." In other words...you can't have a successful consumer economy without successful consumers.

My post was to refute your claim that "the manufacturing index fell this low in 2016." I was pointing out that the 2016 figure had to do with employment, not production. If you'd care to cite your source for your claim, I'd be happy to read it.

You are absolutely correct. And since the taxes and interest rates have already been lowered to nearly nothing there will be no safety net this time around if the worse case scenarios become manifest. The emergency kit is already spent!
