There is a difference in whom they polled. Gallup polled all adults which we know 45% of whom don't show up to vote. The rest outside of Rasmussen, the rest polled registered voters which history shows an average of 65% show up to vote on election day. Likely voters have an 80% average turnout which is who Rasmussen polled.

If one is just after how all Americans view Trump, go with all Adults. If one wants to know the latest on how an election may turnout, go with likely voters. Here's today's RCP Averages.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html

Then you have the margin of error in each poll which is a plus/minus figure. This ranges from a plus or minus 3 points up to 6 points.

There's Rasmussen, and then there's the outliers. Looks like Trump is still hanging in there at about 49% approval. Not bad for someone having that much mud thrown at him every day.

Weekly Update: 50% Favor Impeachment And Removal of President Trump; 38% Oppose

Scott Rasmussen himself says his polling indicates a majority of the country wants Benedict Donald's sorry ass impeached and booted out of office, and his approval rating is 43%...

I wouldn’t bet on anything this far out from the election. The only voters that matter are the 10% of Independent voters who swing the election.

Yet none of them will get a chance to vote on impeachment or conviction. If the House is as dumb as I think it is, they will vote for impeachment, and the Senate will acquit. Then brace yourself for 4 more years of Trump.

Never considered it likely that the senate would convict. The act of impeachment is still vitally important. It is how the legislative branch keeps the executive branch in check when it believes there is extreme misconduct afoot.
If you don’t think airing Trump’s dirty laundry and having a clear picture of all the republicans that do not care will have an impact on the election; you’re not paying attention.

The secretive conspiratorial sedition your party is currently engaged in will have an impact on the election alright, and you're not going to like that impact.

You could hope that all the current Dem contenders drop out, and that someone rational enters in, but I don't think that's going to happen.

I would prefer my party step up and say now to wrong doing than cower in the face of it.

Please cite the actual high crime your party is basing it's impeachment inquiry upon, and why they are too cowardly to even take a vote on their own inquiry.

Without those two elements resolved, it's nothing more than an act of sedition against the highest elected official in the land, which makes your party the wrong doer, and Trump the innocent victim.

Seeking foreign aid in attacking a political rival.

They’ll vote on impeachment when they’re ready. You don’t send a case to trial without all the evidence. It would be a disservice to justice do a rushed job on this.

Well, that would certainly put Hillary in jail, but it wouldn't apply to anything Trump did. Trump was seeking to end corruption, not create corruption.

Hillary can rot in jail if she’s committed any crimes worthy of being there. I don’t support her either. The threat of Biden or Clinton being jailed is an empty one to me.
Ever hear of a judge recusing themselves from a trial because of conflicts of interest. They do that to avoid miscarriages of justice. Trump or the people surrounding him should have been wise enough to act in kind. There are plenty of departments within the federal government that could have pursued this without the conflicts of interest.

Fair warning. You keep doing this kind of thing, you are going to make some posters here displeased with your performance. You may not see as many Christmas cards this year.

"Probable Cause," was already established before Biden announced his candidacy.

Joe Biden himself told the story at a public forum bragging about how he was able to get Shokin fired using US aide as the leverage.

    Biden's exact story.........
“They were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, … we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, ‘You have no authority. You’re not the president.’ … I said, call him. I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. … I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a bitch. He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.”

He hits 52 and AOC and her crew and Nancy Pelosi and most of the dem candidates fall. The more noise the left makes the more voters dump them

Biden’s actions were part of a joint effort that the whole Western Hemisphere was behind, but I’m guessing you’ve repeated this line and been corrected on it enough to know you’re just repeating conspiracies and lies.
You can just say if you don’t care that Trump is trying to use foreign aid in influencing an election. Trust me, I won’t think any less of you.

So it is OK for Biden to pressure the Ukrainian government with a direct verbal threat while Trump said nothing that even came close to even a figurative threat.

Your point with Biden is that, "the end justifies the means?" So typical of the Left these days, but it signifies yet another ugly chapter in the ugly history of the Democrat Party.

This is not even a case of a double standard. Joe's comments were illegal and Trump's weren't.

The ends never justify the means.
Biden was acting in the open at the behest of numerous allied nations. Trump’s actions were held in secret and he tried his damndest to keep them that way. That among several other factors is the difference.
A criminal doesn’t have to say “Break the law for me” to ask someone to break the law. You don’t make it as far as Trump has without learning that lesson.

With Trump so unpopular - even in the seriously skewed pro-Trump Rasmussen poll - and his increasingly hysterical behavior, Democrats are probably fairly confident.
