That's the right question. The answer is to Revive True Conservatism in the United States of America and secure the Republic from tyranny and fools.

Then you are what's called illiterate to the context of the OP, which by definition means you can't have an opinion about it (cause preceding net effect).

No, what it means is that because the OP is full of gibberish similar to the above, I didn't have to read the whole thing to form a perfectly sound opinion of it, your political awareness, your intellect, reasoning capacity, and general level of understanding of the world around you.

Dumb or evil. No "c" answer.

You got a direct response to your post. You just don't recognize the flaming torch of destruction that Donald Trump has been to Real Conservatism. He's not a Conservative. He's demonstrated nothing of Genuine Conservative Values. He's been more of a Inside Job Hitman on the so-called "Republican Party" than anything abomination of Conservatism that I've seen come out of the White House in my lifetime.

So, either Republican's don't understand one iota of their own unique History in this country (because they have not studied it), or Republicans have changed the meaning of Conservatism in this country for the worst, or those now calling themselves Conservative Republicans "feel good" about completely deluding themselves into Political and Social Oblivion in this country. Take your pick, but don't pretend your post was not responded to on the merits. The real question is: Did you understand the merit?

And, that's indicative of the problem with delusional "Republicans." You can't read. You don't comprehend. You have no ability to synthesize. You fail at proper interpretation. You've done this with Donald Trump, so I am not surprised that you do it here.

The guy who beat Hillary Clinton, and in doing so, exposed the hatred and insanity of the American left.

If you support a form of Conservatism that has not been practiced in this country in 117 years, then indeed, you ARE way outside the norm of mainstream Conservative thought. My analysis was therefore 100% correct. Trump has nothing to do with the calculation. It is all about you. Additionally, you will not find many Conservatives that voted for Obama as you did. The further that I dig, the more that my analysis is confirmed. Why do you have a problem with that analysis? If the shoe fits...wear it. You advocate an entirely brand new governmental structure for chrissakes!....yeesh.

    1. Not a Republican. 2. More and more gibberish... Q.E.D. 3. Please don't tell the people who pay me $450 an hour (sometimes more) to read, comprehend and "synthesize" that they are wasting their money. Or rather do, they'll keep paying.

Dumb or evil, no "c" answer. Tending definitively towards the former in your case.

The Republican Party needs to be destroyed. It hasn’t represented conservatives for years. That’s why I ditched them before Trump was a factor in any way.

Conservatism is dying in America because it’s the natural progression of every society that ever existed. Has nothing to do with Trump. It’s just human nature. Yeh, it’s sad to see this grand experiment go down in flames, but it was destined to from the start.

If anyone wants to save what’s left we better quit worrying about the players and get back to the parameters of the game. The Republican Party nor conservatism deserve to exist just because they are Democratic Party or progressivism “light” or “decaf”.

Now, you are getting closer to the truth - but you are still almost 100 years from true pay dirt on the kind of Conservatism I'm talking about.

You've got to get through that period of muck and mire transition between what was once a "Democrat" and what was once a "Republican" in the era (error) of the 1960s. Actually, pre-1960s truth be told, to a time when the KKK were known to be Democrats and most of the Democratic Political Leaders of the time were Anti-Civil Rights White Supremacists.

"Republican" Barry Goldwater, was a Segregationist no different "Democrat" Bull Conner. But, you also must remember that "Democrat" George Wallace, was also a Segregationist who vehemently opposed Civil Right legislation. This was a time in United States History after Genuine Republicanism had been killed - shot in the head and left for dead in favor of this now Dual Headed Hydra pretending to be differentiated.

So, to reach the kind of Republicanism I'm referring to, you must travel back in time to the days of Frederick Douglas, which these FAKE so-called "Republican" Separatists of today FEAR so much.

Meh conservative seems to be one of those meaningless words people use to their own political ends.

Best to avoid defining it as a no true Scotsman fallacy.

The Left can't help itself and neither can the separatists Right. Yet, what Trump, has done thus far as in the aggregate been a thousand times more beneficial to the Left than the right.

I was skeptical of Trump during the primaries, but as President he has been way better than I could have imagined.

Well you said it, "He's been a nuclear bomb in the heart of the Republican Party." That's exactly what I wanted. The truth is that no other Republican candidate was going to win in 2016. Only a Trump-like candidate could have one, and there just happened to be only one of those.

As for "true conservatism" and other myths, there isn't really any such thing since there are and always have been many different strains of conservative thought. I'm more Kirkian myself but the Bush version of conservatism that the GOP has been adhering to for the past 30 years; well that version is a failure, and needed the Trumpian amputation from it in order to advance.

I figure he's a weird dude who grew up with a gold toilet. What he is NOT is a politician. He ran as a populist who will do what people want him to do. He's a whore who will do what the customers want done, and he's a very good whore.

Is he a conservative? Not really. If he ran as a democrat, he would be doing exactly what democrats want done. He's a guy who sells aluminum siding, and he doesn't care what color you want that siding, so long as you buy it from him.

The problem with your question is that you are looking at underlying principles from a salesman. Does he pray before bedtime? I highly doubt it, and don't care. He tries to do what he was elected to do. He's not great at it, but a businessman knows what his job is, which is to give his customers what they want. What he does on his own time is not my concern. What he does when he's being president is giving me my money's worth.

He is just a dude that loves America. Unlike the last ass in the whitehouse. He wants to do what is best for this country and so far is doing so. He makes mistakes as I said he is just a dude, not a God like democrats all thought Obama was. We do not worship or faint when he walks by, we don't expect handouts from him, we expect a strong economy, he delivers, we expect a strong military, he delivers, we expect to be safe in the streets, he is trying to deliver but democrats are more worried about his calling MS13 animals then the fact that they are animals. We expect safe borders, he delivers. We expect the idiot party to continue to cry, whine, moan and groan while he delivers, democrats deliver on that.
