You mean Democrats and Republicans had left people in the heartland behind, since Trump entered the Republican party as a transformer who shoved the establishment to the side, promising to drain the swamp. The Republican swamp responded quickly and rallied around him to save their own skins, and here we are.

But I'm not sure it's right to blame the federal government over the situation in the heartland. Economic fundamentals have been changing over the many years and decades, and it seems the heartland failed to respond to this change. The coasts don't benefit any more from high-paying manufacturing or mining than the rest of the country does; rather, they benefit from other sectors that are increasingly concentrated there, and not in "flyover country."

This is America, where we supposedly pull ourselves up by our bootstraps. Surely the heartland should find ways to succeed and stop playing the victim card. The same white Americans who criticize blacks for playing the victim and blaming their problems on whites are now blaming their problems on others and failing to take responsibility for their own failures. All the New York real estate guy did was come along, confirm to them that they were victims and promise to fix everything for them. He hasn't and he won't, however. All that keeps him popular with them is empty promises and the feelings that they engender. Telling people they are victims and promising them easy solutions works all too well for politicians. Trump is the Orange Obama.

 

There are only two pieces of fact based evidence and BOTH exonerate President Trump.

There is nothing there. Trump asks the President if he can work with the U.S. Attorney General with no strings attached.



The word "favor" is employed paragraphs removed and topics removed from this portion and even if it was directly linked, it wold still not be anything wrong.
