I'm ok with him testifying. Let's just remember what Dershowitz said.

And the Bidens must testify first.

They should have all testified before grand juries years ago.

I still want to get him under oath to testify even if you think he never said it.

Judge Roberts, "Executive Privilege does not apply here because Trump called you a liar and you are free to protect your character by explaining why your statements are not lies."

Dershowitz said his opinion was the minority view.

And no, the Bidens do not need to testify in any shape or form. They have zero knowledge or relevance to Trump's conduct.

There is no evidence. There is one unverified source making a claim.

I thought you claimed to be a lawyer. How do you not understand the difference?

That's a dodge. You can try again if you'd like.

Do you think the Senators can not or should not be able to review evidence like the GAO Report or this news report regarding Bolton? If you don't, how would you like to keep the Senators from reading the news?

Then Bolton won't be allowed to testify.

This is funny. Why would you care? What harm could be done to trump if bolton testifies?

Since this has been such a “win” for trump and conservatives why would they ever give democrats the same “win”?
    Seems counter intuitive...

I guess y’all forget what the right did with the Clinton impeachment... consequences, right?

Since I'm not biting at it, how did this attempted deflection work out for YOU?

If the Bidens testify, Bolton can testify. But the Bidens go first because they’ll back out if Bolton goes first.

Otherwise, let’s just finish this today.

    :roflol:

    Good luck with that.

    Bolton Testimony = RELEVANT.

    Biden Testimony = irrelevant.

Glad to clear that up for you.:salute:

    Ok. Then nobody testifies.

If Bolton has something to say, there is nothing preventing him from holding a press conference.

I was against that impeachment; but at least the Right had proof that Clinton lied under oath BEFORE they AND several Dem Party representatives voted to impeach him. With Trump the charges are off the wall inventions and no meaningful evidence was presented before impeachment was rammed through on strictly partisan lines.

Subpoena Barr for what? If he worried about their independence, that shows he's a stelwart for the institution and not the Trump man you fear. And what relevance does he have to the impeachment?

So because zero republicans broke rank you believe that is a fault of the democrats?
The people were for impeachment with the evidence.
The people are for removal with the evidence.

That says more about Republican leadership that they are not taking this seriously — it will be remembered.

That is a job for the House - not the Senate.

Of course, it is never too late for a grand jury to subpoena everyone involved.
Assuming we still have grand juries.
