Nope - You have been drinking way to much of the state sponsored propaganda kool aid - and have not done much investigation outside the propaganda machine.

I am proud of the fact that Iran, alone among the countries in the world, most of whom have closed their eyes to the horrific mayhem and bloodshed unleashed on the people of Yemen by a Saudi led coalition which involved (before some of its members dropped off) 12 states with full backing, assistance and coordination of the United States. It is ridiculous to try to find fault that Iran would assist the Houthis against Saudi Arabia, which by itself and not counting any of its other partners in crime, boasts the 3rd largest military budget in the world, supplied to the teeth with weapons from all over the world and, most notably, the United States. Besides the supply weapons, the US is directly involved in many of the operations by the Saudis and assists them in their 4 year campaign of murder and genocide against the people in Yemen.

The only thing I think Iran has to apologize for is the fact that it is not powerful enough to stop those who are committing these murders and cannot be more open about assisting the Houthis given the UN embargo they have placed on supply of weapons to the Houthis by any outside force. (And the UN embargo against Iran exporting weapons to any state or non-state actor anywhere). Otherwise, by which calculus of morality, justice, or anything, could anyone support what the Saudis (and company) have been doing in Yemen?

    I am a bit curious
what right does the US even have searching and confiscating iranian weapons outside its own territorial waters anyway

it says arabian sea wich probably means internation or yemen territory

Iranian Monitor just answered that for you, it's a UN decision.

How do you separate Iran's involvement in Yemen and other places from the "live and let live" policy, it seems its not really something you believe in.

Yes, but it is highlighting the hypocrisy that a select few countries can veto any resolution. Why should countries like the US, UK etc be allowed to supply weapons to who ever they want but other countries cannot. And why are so many countries allowed to ignore UN resolutions placed on them but others are punished

It is tough to respond to an assertion such as your's in the abstract, without you making it clear what you are referring to. But in general, I don't see Iran responsible to address every evil in this world and certainly not when the victims don't look to Iran for help. But those who look to Iran for help, and whose cause appears just, and whose enemies are also enemies of Iran, are clearly those which Iran will concern itself the most.

I do watch the news and time to time I even read about it. It's your propaganda that I question. When people wave a burning flag of my country and scream death to America I take them at face value, they hate us. Don't say they just hate my government, that is who we are. I suspect that your government is who you are too.

    "Allowed".....
What is it that surprises you ? that Russia and America etc' are looking at their own interests ? that there really isn't any world cop ?
Try not to be a super power enemy and if you are don't give it excuses to attack you, you don't need the UN for that.

There is no "just cause", or even a half-hearted pretense of one, for the US to be involved in the Saudi campaign of slaughter and mayhem in Yemen. Nor are these conflicts anywhere near where America is invited or wanted. Everywhere Iran is involved, there is a legitimate grass routes support for its involvement. The same is not true for America and its presence and involvement in the Middle East.

Isn't it the "legit" ruler of Yemen that's supported by the Saudis ? isn't it exactly the same claim you have with Syria ?
Israel, Saudia and others "invite" America to the ME and it's the US decision which UN resolution to use to their benefit.

Maybe the Iranian people are naive in this regard, but even those Iranians who do chant such slogans (slogans whose popularity varies greatly depending on what the US has been doing and what is happening between the two sides), make a clear distinction between the American government and American people. Of course, that distinction is lost to people like you who might support or have supported each of the things they are chanting against, but unless you go to Iran and start telling people that you supported the US assassinating General Soleimani, that you support "maximum pressure" on Iran to give up its missiles and such, that you supported the US helping Iraq gas Iranians during the Iran-Iraq war, etc, the people of Iran would only show you hospitality, kindness, and eagerness to show that they aren't your enemy at all.

In any case, don't confuse Iran with Saudi Arabia when it comes to indoctrinating its children. If there is some political indoctrination in Iranian textbooks, there is no attempt to spew hatred or ill feeling towards Americans, Jews, Sunnis, Christians or other ethnic or religious groups in any of these textbooks. At most, at the high school level and such, there will be subtle and not so subtle forms of political, ideological, indoctrination against certain governments. The US, Israel and Saudi Arabia in the forefront. But some against the Russians too, which interesting is being lowered and edited out of Iranian textbooks (but with US mouthpieces objecting to it:).

This piece appeared a couple days ago in Radio Farda (a US government sponsored outlet focused on Iran).

Critics Say Negative References To Russia Omitted From Iranian Textbooks

I can post polls from the majority of people in Syria supporting Iran's activities there at the height of the Syrian civil war. And polls that showed president Assad having the support of his people, besides the fact that he was elected by them. Show me any recent poll that shows the 'legitimate government of Yemen' (i.e., the Saudi stooges) having much support anywhere in Yemen, or any poll that shows any support among the people in Yemen for the US involvement in Yemen.

You're just highlighting the hypocrisy already mentioned in my post. They don't need real excuses, they just make up excuses

There is no distinction, the American people are the government and the same applies to your country.

If the Iran had done to the US what we have done to Iran - and other Muslims in the region - you would be out waving flag's screaming "death to Iran" - our leaders have scream death to Iran on a regular basis - and so do many of our citizens.

This has nothing to do with what we are talking about. Iran's curriculum does not teach kids to hate Jews, Christians - and Muslims who are not like them - as a function of "Religious piety"

None of the terrorist groups going around blowing themselves up in other nations are "Shia". Civil wars do not count -as they are civil wars - we blow stuff up in war too - that does not make us terrorists - despite the propaganda media trying to conflate the two.

I am not the one touting State Sponsored propaganda as if it was Truth on a platter. That would be you.

Taliban, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, Islamic Front, Al Shabaab, the extremist groups in Pakistan - India -the ex Soviet Stans - and numerous other radical extremist Islamist groups around the globe - ALL -share the same Saudi Inspired extremist Sunni/Salafi ideology.

El Saud has been exporting this ideology all over the world for decades - supporting these groups and arming them in some cases.

How many Shia Muslims were involved in 911 ? ZERO. How many Sunni Islamist's ? All of them.

Iran is not exporting some loony bin extremist ideology all over the world - That would be Saudi Arabia.

Are we talking about SA or Iran? Now I have no knowledge of what is taught in Iranian schools but I have seen what your political and religious leadership says about the US and Israel. It sounds to me as if you have missed it.

We have Sunni AQ and ISIS and then we have all those militias and Hezbollah from your guys. Glass houses and all that.

My political leader is Trump at the moment - so you can save the ad hom fallacy for someone it actually applies to.

What part of "civil war" does not count - was completely lost on you ? Israel and the Palestinians have been fighting each other for decades - it is a blood feud - with both sides doing nasty deeds - Israel doing far more of them but - who's counting.

Name one nation that Hezbollah has attacked in the last 20 years - outside Israel ? Comparing Hezbollah to Al Qaeda is like comparing the US revolutionaries these terrorists.

Now name the nations attacked by these Saudi inspired nut jobs. Your conflation of the two is a direct result of state sponsored propaganda - Full Stop.
