    Why? We have been warning about disease coming across open borders for years now. I don't want to say we told you so, but we told you so. Who knows how many that have come into contact with corona are being smuggled across the borders? Again, i'm not really worried about this virus, but the southern border is a definite weakness in keeping this or any virus in check.

    But the political Left very obviously does want open borders and to the extent that they wouldn't even dream of backing off on that no matter how panicked they have become over the Corona Virus. Funny that all the Ebola outbreaks inside the United States caused by Obama's policies did not bother them the least little bit.

    No, it won't be the only death. We should have a mortality rate of 2-3% just like everyone else.

    The Trump administration's response is completely appropriate. Trump is holding a press conference right now. This administration has been very transparent and helpful in giving updates.

    Patients hospitalized with pneumonia?
    All members of society who test seropositive for the virus, whether symptomatic or not?
    Does that statistic even exist?

    Hopefully that rate will be lower here for those of high risk. For the majority its not the virus itself that will be the major concern. The economic impact is going to affect all of us in some way.

    First, this should not be politicized.

    Second, this will get worse before it gets better, but we will beat this thing.

    Third, we must take a very hard look at curtailing international travel, entrance into the U.S. from overseas (air, sea, and land), and we must stop illegal immigration from the southern border.

    Until this disease is beaten, we must be willing to accept a new paradigm, similar to being in a war.

    No one said there would not be deaths.

    Some on here....were acting as if we had 5000 dead already. That’s what those post were in regards to.

    We are at 1 death.

    7400 people a day die in the US on average, everyday of the year.

    While tragic, one person in a country of 330 million is...well....how do libs phrase it when an American is murdered by a Muslim or illegal?....inconsequential.
