Amazing, a boat needing a boat to get around.

Honestly, up close the workmanship was pretty shoddy. There is no way that crew could have built a ship that could stay afloat.

It's a silly question, even the question itself belies a certain lack of understanding of how evolution works. A chicken did not 'arise' from a different species is a single generation or anything like that.

Whole populations change due to environmental pressures. The genes that caused chickens to be a successful species were passed on slowly over time, in response to outside environmental changes, whether that's climate changes or response to new predators which either were also evolving or moved into the area. The genes that made one individual slightly more successful in response to changing stimuli would of also made other 'proto-chickens' more successful as well. So large sections of the population of whatever evolved into chickens would of slowly become more chicken-like over generations until eventually you have modern wild chickens.

The most clear examples of this you can see on islands. I'm not sure if you are aware of island dwarfism. But variant species on islands, once they got to islands often times evolve into much smaller versions or different species on islands. This is in response to having less food. Less food means small versions of whatever species was originally there were more likely to survive and species shrink on islands. Give that a few million years and they are entirely different species than what originally was on the island. In indonesia there used to be species of elephants the size of a large dog.

Getting back to chickens, like the lack of food on an island, whatever various stimuli was in the environment, it favored the more chicken like genes.

That eastern Washington flood (the one mentioned in the first article) didn't cover the whole earth. I believe it's the largest single flood that we know about. A result of an ice dam breaking out in Montana.

But its a good example of why we know that a global flood didn't happen.

The evidence for that flood is overwhelming and everywhere you look in the badlands there. (I grew up in the badlands of eastern Washington, as a side note) Whole massive canyons were carved by it. It displaced rock formations that were the size of small mountains. There are ripple formations similar to those at the bottom of streams and rivers, but massive to the scale of small hills.

A global flood would be an event many many many times the size of that badlands flood (and certainly could not be caused by 40 days of rain, elsewise Seattle would be in deep trouble)

Where the evidence of the badlands flood is so overwhelming and all over eastern Washington, the evidence for a global flood would be many times greater and it would be all over the world. There would be no way to miss it.

You cite something in your local area once being under 1500 feet of water (of which there are many possible explanations). If there were a global flood, there is no way for something like that to be confined to a local area. It would be literally everywhere. Since there isn't evidence like in the badlands or this mysterious local area of yours everywhere, we can safely say that a global flood did not happen.

Well there is this pesky thing called science.

Science is based on proof. Not a self proving book, i.e., circular logic.

I wasn't around in 1941, but I don't have to guess that Pearl Harbor was attacked

Who was around billions of years ago? Did anyone see the first non-life becoming life? Do we see it happening today?

It is amazing how people who claim evolution to be invalid science, don't know the basics of evolution. The following link should answer your question.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciation

Now let me ask a question. What is the proof for the Ark claim?

the ark museum is a joke, but how many religious museums are there out there? personally I would prefer to visit ancient religious sites, as they are often well crafted and beautiful and have real history too them

just because a museum doesn't push religion on people does not make it an atheist museum, history is not an atheist creation, it just is

You are thinking of a mutation from an external source, something like radiation. Most mutations are benign and occur naturally. They neither lead towards more breeding or less breeding (what ultimately fuels evolution.)

But it doesn't matter if most lead to nothing or are harmful. If even 1 in 100 led towards more breeding for those with the mutation, those genes are more prominent in the next generation of a species. It happens again and the genes are slightly more prominent again. Those with the harmful mutations don't breed as much and become less prominent. Since we are dealing with massive time scales, millions of generations for some species, that slight change in a gene that led to a little more breeding for some and a little less for others means that eventually that mutated gene is all those animals after thousands of generations.

So it doesn't matter if most mutations are benign or harmful, those that aren't (or rather those that cause more breeding) get passed on.

    ,
The age of the earth is determined by things like radiometric dating, geology, fossils, and so forth. More of this pesky stuff called science.

Obviously no one saw the first primitive forms of.life created. But we can see the fossil evidence of these early life forms.

I think the intended question was do we see new species of life created today and the answer is yes. For example there is a species of Mosquito that only lives in subway tunnels.

Any I have another question. Explain why animals have vestigial organs.

They have a few stock answers for genocide, slavery, and so forth. The explanation for what you point out would probably be shoehorned into the old covenant v. new covenant explanation.

yep, that god was bad, then realized he was bad and created the rainbow to tell us he was sorry and would never do that again

course then you ask if God can do bad things and they say no... so round and round it goes

Is any of this information published? Perhaps you could share one or two things you see as evidence for creation.

Genesis is not evidence. Why do you think it is? Or to put it another way why is Genesis different than any other creation mythology?

The Bible is not evidence for the truth of the Bible. This claim is a fallacy and an exercise in circular logic. The premise of an argument cannot be supported by the conclusion of the argument.
