Take solace in this Smartie. The cure for the China virus is conservatism. Personal hygiene is a conservative trait, don’t live like a dirty hippie. Social distancing, hell that our mantra, that’s why we live on property outside of town. Conservatives don’t live in apartments in places like NYC where they stack themselves like cordwood.

He has lied. He trivialized the entire threat for weeks. He attacked Dems for perpetrating a hoax. He likely led millions to ignore the threat for a month and take unnecessary risks. Hell, he may be responsible for the death of the pastor who called it a hoax, and then died from it.. He spews out his wild-eyed fantasies as facts and then has to be corrected by his own people. He attacks Governors who aren't appreciative enough...

First it’s not 100s of 1000s dead. However if the choice is global economic collapse? The only logical choice is that or death? What good is saving the lives of those people if there isn’t a stable world left or their savings are gone and have no money to live on anymore? And their kids. And their grandchildren. I mention the age because the vast majority are older, elderly and already sick. It logically is. It worth it.

if I was 80 and had a good life I’d rather my kids and grandkids not suffer, than me live another few years. Because I might live, but EVERYONE would suffer. That is quite selfish.
