They weren't all quarantined to be fair.

Let's pretend that Trump's partial travel restrictions did buy the US more time. What did Trump do with that additional time?

Actually there is. "The media" is everything you see on TV except FOX and OAN and 90% of what you read in papers and so called news magazines. They use eachother for sources in an incestuous feeding frenzy.

 

The media called it a ban and Biden called it a ban and called Trump a fear monger for instituting it so I'll respond to them not you.

 

The travel ban gave us time to learn from Europe and their mistakes which did not institute a ban and were hit by the virus weeks before us.

 

Our infection rate, per capita, is significantly higher than the EU and have been for a week. Our deaths per capita are catching up.

So...what did we do with that extra time and why didn't those steps limit the infection.

First off I question your statistics. Much of America is largely untouched by Corona.
Secondly we had time to see what was happening in Europe and were able to start preparing for the influx of patients we knew would come needing ventilators etc. Social distancing was also instituted as a result of watching Europe along with closing businesses. This could have been far worse.

I keep being told on this forum and others that it's the media making people abhor Donald Trump. As one of those people, I say horse pucky. I've abhorred the man for decades due to his own words and deeds.

All that the media need do is report what he says and what he does. They don't need to spin anything or take it out of context. He shows us every day that he's a child prone to tantrums, that his ego is all-important, that everything is about him. He proves tome and again that he is a sociopath without an ounce of empathy. And when he tries to fake that empathy, he fails so utterly that he sounds like a fool.

It isn't the media's fault that Trump is what he is.

 

I'm sure that using taxpayer money to produce a video that praised trump and selectively bashed some media (no Rush Limbaugh or Jeanine Pirro quotes, I noticed) really saved many lives and stopped thousands from being infected.

The administration has every right to address the press and it's reporting on the administration.

These arent talking points at all, these are the TRUTH. Regardless if you like it or not.

 

It’s the truthful view. They genuinely hate the guy and hate that they cannot control him, they cant beat him. Everytime they create fake news about them they lose trust. He beats them like a drum.
