Part of this is the fault of democrats who refused to provide significant bailout funds to struggling businesses. We should have provided strong bailouts to businesses in exchange for keeping their employees on their payroll.

So if you add the 95M number, give or take 5 million to be fair, to the newly existing figures, you see where the country really is. We have crossed the line of independence from Govt. support to being unable to exist without it. At this point 1/3rd+ of the country is dependent on the Govt. for some type of support. I have yet to hear of one person who returned their stimulus check. Not one. Myself included. It's a new world, and it would be naive to believe that dependency on Govt. assistance will wane.

And lets not forget about people who think it's better or more "profitable" to be on UE as opposed to actually working. Congress is now working to make that possible with more stimulus money for UE. My daughter who is a Freshman in college and has been working, got accepted for UE for $137 a week since she has been furloughed from her job. Thats great, but if she starts getting an extra $600 on top of that..... what incentive is there to go back to work? I could care less if she goes back to work right now, she's living at home and applying for the nursing program at a great school, and does what she needs to do, but other people who weren't making that kind of money per week....and aren't in school may not be as motivated to go back to work
