Funny, Dr. Fauci said the administration response was pretty good. Our death rate is lower than eight European nations, hospitals not overwhelmed, no shortage of ventilators. Are you sure your opinion isn't colored by your Trump hate?

Part of this is the fault of democrats who refused to provide significant bailout funds to struggling businesses. We should have provided strong bailouts to businesses in exchange for keeping their employees on their payroll.

This is a clear example of pandering to the low informal voter. Nice thing is, people who are smart, are seeing right through this BS.

    The unemployment situation in this country has been horrendous since before 2016. We cannot hang this all on Trump. Unemployment figures do not include;

    "95 million Americans.

That’s the number of Americans now counted as not in the labor force (in 2016), a historic high that has confounded economists and policymakers. The total — 95.06 million to be more exact — has been rising consistently but surged by a gaudy 446,000 last month.

The jump occurred as the U.S. economy added 178,000 jobs and the headline unemployment rate dropped sharply.

Explaining the consistent increase in those leaving the labor force is complicated, with factors divided between an aging and rapidly retiring workforce, a skills gap that leaves job openings unfilled, and the nettlesome problem of too many people who find it’s just easier to collect welfare and other transfer payments rather than go back to work." (bold mine)

    https://www.cnbc.com/2016/12/02/95-million-american-workers-not-in-us-labor-force.html

So if you add the 95M number, give or take 5 million to be fair, to the newly existing figures, you see where the country really is. We have crossed the line of independence from Govt. support to being unable to exist without it. At this point 1/3rd+ of the country is dependent on the Govt. for some type of support. I have yet to hear of one person who returned their stimulus check. Not one. Myself included. It's a new world, and it would be naive to believe that dependency on Govt. assistance will wane.

So the only way to defeat a pandemic is for Trump to lose an election? Is this supposed to be "science"?

Your post is idiotic in the extreme.

President Donald Trump is not responsible for the virus outbreak. And you can't seriously believe that if Joe Biden is elected that it will miraculously disappear.

    Unsupportable, hyper-partisan nonsense.
If Hillary were in office, doing the same thing, you;d praise and defend her.
    We all know its true.

    Hypothetical.

In reality, it's Trump who's at WH.

I agree with you. Whoever would have been in office during this time would get the blame. It's easy to forget that the economy was booming only months before isn't it? The truth about politics is people in general only care about what have you done lately for me....

In reality the U.S. as a whole nation is responsible. God forbid we put our political differences aside just
for an instant to resolve the situation. But no our government acts last me a bunch of infants. We were screwed from the beginning as the virus had been spreading internationally undetected for who knows how long.

And you didn't even hint at disagreeing with the premise.
Thus, you present nothing but hyper-partisan nonsense.

Under Tramp the "not working but eating" as Russia Limpboy likes to call them is now 103,415 million, a new world record.
    MAGA!
add in the 20.078 million unemployed and you have 78.9% of the labor force "not working but eating."
    MAGA!

RUSH: We've got a lot of people -- look, 90 million Americans -- I love to put it this way 'cause I think it's the proper perspective. Ninety million Americans are not working, Donna, but they're eating. What does that mean? That's over 10 New York Cities that are not working. But they're eating, which means somebody's buying their sustenance, and that somebody is somebody else, is the government. They are eating.

Don’t forget in the meantime we have a real unemployment rate that’s probably 21%. It’s not 6. It’s not 5.2 and 5.5. Our real unemployment rate–in fact, I saw a chart the other day, our real unemployment–because you have ninety million people that aren’t working. Ninety-three million to be exact.
If you start adding it up, our real unemployment rate is 42%.

Trumps response to the Virus shows just how bad his judgement is

If Trump had attacked the Virus with a organized plan to test and contract trace as the other successful countries

then USA wouldn't had to shut the economy

Trumps campaign of misinformation and denial gave the Virus an opportunity to spread

I agree it's hard to argue the Facts

It's best just throw Trump rhetoric at Facts

And lets not forget about people who think it's better or more "profitable" to be on UE as opposed to actually working. Congress is now working to make that possible with more stimulus money for UE. My daughter who is a Freshman in college and has been working, got accepted for UE for $137 a week since she has been furloughed from her job. Thats great, but if she starts getting an extra $600 on top of that..... what incentive is there to go back to work? I could care less if she goes back to work right now, she's living at home and applying for the nursing program at a great school, and does what she needs to do, but other people who weren't making that kind of money per week....and aren't in school may not be as motivated to go back to work
