It was a direct response to your post about ignorant DP pols urging people to do nothing during a pandemic.

Here is another example of an ignorant know nothing DP pol:

"“This is a surprise," NBC News quoted Gov. Cuomo as saying. "Sixty-six percent of the people were at home, which is shocking to us. They're not working; they're not traveling, of these recently hospitalized coronavirus patients."

This results show that the deadly novel coronavirus has continued to spread even when people were following the lockdown rules. The results also indicate the need to follow other precauionary measures like hand-washing to slow down the virus' spread."

You have yet to offer anything that actually contradicts Trump's statement on testing.
Probably because what Trump said was so obviously true.

Calling them malcontents is a bit generous. These are some really sick people.

No, when someone makes a statement that contradicts conventional wisdom, the onus is on them. You support that view? The onus is on you.
No way in hell can you claim that testing is 'overrated'.

IB times is on par with CNN, for factual reportage. Not a reliable source. "Mixed" rating on mediabiasfactcheck.org. Look for 'mostly factual" or higher.
use of weasel words. loaded language, etc., diminishes your credibility. Work on improving the caliber of your comments.

IBT got it right - very good for their credibility. Challenging what Cuomo said at his press briefing is not good for your "credibility". Here is another source:

“This is a surprise: Overwhelmingly, the people were at home,” Cuomo said during a briefing on Long Island. “We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we’ve taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home.”

Exactly how did Trump's statement of the obvious truth "contradict conventional wisdom"?

Trump Jr. said so today. Did you need a link?

You have no idea how we open country safely? Of course not, you listen to Trump, that ****ing moron has no idea.

    Test - Trace - Distance.

That's it. everyone is tested every few days, any outbreaks are traced. People stay far away form each other.

Of course Trump can't say that because the Feds have completely given up any responsability.

If you made a statement, the burden of proof is on you; a claim of "conventional wisdom" is a sophomoric argumentum ad populum fallacy.

Unless one knows the meaning of "responsibility" or "prove"

I wasn't implying what is popular, I was implying what is conventional wisdom among health care professionals. Therefore your "fallacy" isn't really on point. But you are excused as I could have stated what I was implying.

I came to the conclusion as to 'conventional wisdom' based on what I'm reading from a number of sources. That is a reasonable conclusion to draw, that it's being reported from many sources who tell us that USA needs to do a lot more testing than we are doing to get ahead of the virus, notwithstanding issues surrounding the tests themselves, they are telling us, in principle, assuming the testing difficulties will be solved. To wit:
