Doctors are saying that George Floyd had prior conditions that before his death, but you won't hear that from the liberal media. Fact: He had a inferior cervical gangilion which wasn't strong enough to support the pressure. This affects some although not all chordate that George Floyd was classified as.

There s no rationalizing someone deliberately exerting pressure against someone's throat for over 8 consecutive minutes, that would expire some of the healthiest amongst us.

As I posted on yet another thread on this topic.

Makes no difference what caused Floyd to die. Someone is going to have to go to jail less the country burns down.

So is the officer not responsible for his death then?

If I smothered my friend who has asthma with a pillow, which then resulted in him passing away, would I not be considered responsible since he has a preexisting respiratory issue?

At this point I would imagine you would like to go back in time and decide NOT to post the OP

Again, I am a cop guy and work with them on a daily basis. This cop killed George Floyd as did the three other officers that did not try to stop his death. All of them need to be prosecuted.

He had a prior rap sheet. Strange how people select the ones they want to idolize. I wouldn't have picked this guy.

Yeah. And he “resisted arrest”. We’ll have to wait for the independent autopsy.

This isn't about George Floyd anymore. This is an organized effort to bring the U.S. down.

So putting a knee down on the center of homeboys neck didn’t exacerbate his prior conditions?

So when a bar bouncer passing fake bills gets chocked out by the police why am I supposed to care? They can burn down Minneapolis all they want I could give a rat's ass.

Of course he is responsible but this makes it manslaughter rather than murder one.

Perhaps that statement best shows one of the problems we need to overcome.

Perhaps but he was doing OK until he encountered these cops.

We have a problem we desperately need to overcome it's domestic terrorists and inner city looters. This incident in Minneapolis (bastion of political correctness) is not an excuse to loot and burn cities all across America. If you're one of those who think it is then you're part of the problem.

No it wouldn't but once someone is cuffed there is no reason to go further especially if they are on the ground. My concern is with police brutality. I would not want to see any citizen, regardless of race, done this way even if they do not die.

I care when I see people looting and burning phone stores and other small businesses. Brings me to tears knowing some of them were started by private citizens who invested all they had in them.

Good - then you should be in favor of getting rid of the bad legislation that led to this situation.

And he was complaining of shortness of breath before he was on the ground indicating a cardiac event. The slamdunk ain't no slamdunk anymore this throws a kink in the works. He may have even been in cardiac arrest before he hit the ground. Defense will be all over this.

The ME preliminary information is that there is no evidence of strangulation or asphyxiation. Floyd was far from the healthiest and was already complaining of cardiac problems before he was on the ground. That will factor in court. I'm interested to see how these proecutors are going to deal with this blatant reasonable doubt that the officers actions, as abhorrent as they were, were the cause of death. Doesn't get them out of jail for the abuse but for murder...........
