A wonderfully simple man { Recluse } who nonetheless possessed
a sharp keen awareness of nature and the simple life.As in spending
life in the Woods { Walden Pond }.He was also a penny-pincher yet

I guess it was within this context { a hermit } he had little
if any disturbances within his ability to think and contemplate
about Life,Nature and beyond.
About his only disturbance may be have been a Loon or
Raccoon or some wasps.Maybe hot sticky weather or a
particularly cold winter.But his overall Philosophy would kick-in
