Because someone doesn't have a right to my damn property. Now let's break down your thought, why are you supporting stealing someone's property?

"They came first for the Nationalists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Nationalist. Then they came for the Christians, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Christian. Then they came for the Conservatives, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Conservative. Then they came for the Whites, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Racist. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up."

This just came to me this morning. My take on an old poem. Prophetic. Feel free to share...

WTF? My nephew just had his car stolen. So he calls the police to report it. Only to find out that since it was only worth less than 5 grand it was not a criminal matter anymore. But a civil matter. They wouldn't be bothered with it..So his mom called 911 to report it and was told she would be arrested for abusing 911 if she called again.

Thing is they don't know who stole the car. You can bet your arse car theft will explode in Mississippi if the car is less than 5 grand. I live in a red state controlled by the GOP. Wtf ?

Yet you get caught with 29 grams of pot that is a felony!

Beam me up Scotty. No protection of property ..

Dodge? No. I reflect on the notion of the political economy and how it created super markets stores, getting rid of smaller businesses in the name of efficiency.

Your duty? Why not just give in? That is always an option you never considered. Just let the person go.

Why do you care about something that is transient? And who says I support stealing? I’m simply acknowledging stealing has motivations to it.

I personally play the French. Stupid French people.

So, protections for people convicted of crimes are a bad thing?

Come to think of it, I can name a hundred situations where just being accused of a certain crime should get you sent home until you're acquitted.

Sent home isn’t the same thing as being forced to stay in jail because you can’t pay bail.

Make it legal to steal your possessions. So you come home to a looted house. You would change your thinking when you are getting robbed. That is why your thinking is utter nonsense. And hypocrisy.

There is a story about a poor monk I love. The monk has given up on all worldly possessions save for a bowl to eat from and the clothes on his back. One day a thief comes into his cave and tries to rob the monk. The monk shows him his two possessions. Frustrated the thief takes the monks clothes and bowl before fleeing into the night. The monk, left naked laughs. “You could never take something as beautiful as the moon away from me.”

Monks also douse themselves with gas and burn to death.

What is your age and IQ?

    I see a troll.

I see myself as someone who can let go of the material world in favor of deeper understanding. You asked for my position and can’t undetstand it. Yet you imply I’m unintelligent or naive. How sad of you to respond that way. I can introspect on my ideas about the world. Can you do the same? Why can’t a person just turn the other cheek?

Nope. Because bail is designed to let rich people lout, and in turn this ends up an advantage white people get.

But Kranes56 you’re going to say. No it doesn’t, poor white people are also victims in this. So it can’t possibly be viewed through a racial lens.

But Dutch you racist ole chap it can. Because we can add in the idea of who is a security threat. Black bodies are seen as security threats, whereas white bodies are allowed more distinctions. This in turn effects the bail system.

My point that stores exist in a political economy has no merits about the extent to what stores should do in a politicized economy?

Yeah... I think you just don’t know what you’re talking about.

When the rest of America see black bodies murdering more people than white bodies, Latino bodies and Asian bodies combined.... black bodies become seen as security threats. In the world of science, we call that pattern recognition. The animals that weren't good at pattern recognition went extinct. It is a self preservation mechanism and it cannot be shut off.

I have used the ignore button only once. May use it again.

Thing is I can argue with the left and right as long as they don't go into a place that is too extreme. Into something that destroys civilizations that smart people created and wrestled order out of disorder and chaos using this system of the rule of law . This protects life and property. Thugs cannot take my possesions and not be punished.

Anyone who negates that....well you get the point.

Your "point" has nothing to do with the discussion you're just being obtuse.

At no point, people must obey the law or there is anarchy.

But your deeper understanding is shallow. Sounds like you are into eastern philosophy and even reference a saying of Jesus.

Ordinary Buddhists want more than looking at the moon. Monks live differently. But they generally don't have wife and kids to care for.

Hindus become seekers some of them once they raise their family.

But most of humanity have to have more than enjoying the moon. They need the rule of law. That is what keeps civilization intact and gives order,

That is the truth of reality sir.

I once heard Jiddu Krishnamurti at Ojai Ca. tell another story.

A monk was once asked by a rich man to stay the night and teach of Buddhism. The monk who owned only his clothes on his back and his begging bowl railed on about the mansion and possessions of this rich man. And that he should give everything away and seek enlightenment.

That night the mansion caught fire and the monk fled for his life. As he and it he rich man watched the house burn to the ground suddenly the monk ran back towards the inferno but was tackled by the rich man.

What's wrong with you yelled the rich man. The monk replied all that he owned was in that house, his one set of saffron robe and his begging bowl!

The rich man never talked to another monk.
