Video shows Black man pinned to tree in what he calls 'attempted lynching' at Indiana lake

I"m starting to think stories like these are just going to become a regular feature of the media. Everyone who isn't a woke progressive is a racist. What do you think happened here:

 

Yeah that sounds pretty on the nose for a hoax.

The video shows nothing that I can see.

All it needs is Trump in a KKK robe and Jussie Smollett walking by with a bag of subway sandwiches.

 

Fake Hate. If there were anywhere near the number they pretend, they wouldn't be faking so many of them.

Im usually the first one to call 'hoax' on this stuff... but having grown up in IN and having had relatives that I visited regularly in the Bloomington area, I'd say this one is plausible. There were 'no n****ers after dark' signs on some of the county roads as late as 1996. I remember because those were good roads to learn to drive on (since I was white, of course) which is when I saw them. Southern IN was a notorious KKK area, and likely still has a few.

 

I've never been to the area but I read that southern Illinois and Indiana have more in common with the south than they do with northern states.

What do you think?

Isn’t Abraham Lincoln’s childhood cabin in Southern Indiana? If I recall correctly it’s by a town called Santa Claus and Christmas Lake.

 

As far as S. IN goes, absolutely.

 

I remeber there being somewhat of conflict in claims between IN and KY as to where Lincoln 'grew up'. I think he bounced around before settling in Illinois.

 

Quick scan of his twitter account confirms: he is belligerently anti-police and has dropped numerous racial jabs suggesting he has a problem with whites.

 

I hear he was thrown out of BLM and had political aspirations too.

Do you have an audio example of the twang?

Im from Iowa and my family from Nebraska, Minnesota, and South Dakota and there is a subtle accent, but I wouldn't call it twang.

Outlets are describing him as a "civil rights activist'. I swear they give that title away as often as those little blue verified-nobody checkmarks.

 

Vid one shows some white thugs holding down 1 guy against a tree, while some other white thugs physically assault the camera person.
So where is that so called hoax?

 

The thug is a dramatic fellow.

His video does not confirm his claims and apparently confirms he is tresspassing.

He was not lynched or nearly lynched.

What's the deal with this blocking traffic business? It just seems like a freaking terrible idea on all levels.

Even if you don't have a violent collision or cause an accident or someone gets shot (atlanta) you annoy the hell out of everybody that's trying to get somewhere at the very least.

As far as the tree story goes I'm just going to sit back and wait for some details on this, like the prior 10 minutes before the video.

Are you going to scour the internet and continue to post this sort of BS? If so, for what purpose?
"Protesters" of all shapes, ages, and colors, will do well to understand they are putting their own lives in danger by their actions and at the very least some trolling poster on some internet forum may create an OP somewhere and post an internet video of them doing something stupid for all to see, in which case two people look like jackasses.

 

They have in common with Indiana and the mid-west, when I moved to Chicago in the mid 1970's I was shocked by the racism I saw compared to Alabama. There were places where blacks better not go and places whites better not go. This sounds like one of those this has always been a white recreation area as opposed to black recreation area and some whites there were gonna let the black guy know. Or perhaps the black guys knew it and decided now a time to make an issue. The "lynching" thing a bit overblown. Is it right, no but it goes both ways.

 

He was nearly lynched. It's obvious that them white thugs didn't want them camera's recording.
Them white thugs were exceptionally hostile and assaulted the people holding the camera.
Seems like a hard thing for you to acknowledge.
