I can see the Trump campaign trying to change conditions and terms of the debates or even try reducing the number from three.

Trump kinda screwed up the dementia meme by acknowledging he “recently” took a cognitive test. He did two years ago, but that’s not recent. So now the speculation is did doctors believe one was necessary when he took that night run to the hospital recently that has never been adequately explained?

The doofus was actually bragging that he aced the test and doctors were amazed. Does he realize the test contains questions like, can you draw this time on a clock? Can you name these animals? Real basic stuff.

If the doctors were amazed, what they hell happened to him for the doctors to be so concerned about his cognitive functioning to administer the test?

He’s likely merely lying again and referring to the test from his ‘18 physical.

 

I am pretty sure in my lifetime and the lifetime of 99.999999999% of all you democrats on here you have NEVER looked over the tax returns of any presidential candidate, have you? Be honest for a change.

Proper transparency should take place even if the vast majority of America does not understand or have the expertise to understand the documents. I am a lawyer and I hate tax law. But there are tax experts who should be permitted to review his document because his decisions, the ones that are supposed to benefit America, can very much be corrupted by his personal financial interests.

Trump failed miserably during his debates and only emerged "victorious" according to the base of supporters who supported him beforehand. In every debate with Clinton trump lost among independents miserably. Biden on the other hand successfully debate Elizabeth Warren, someone who is exponentially smarter than Trump, and Bernie Sanders, one of the single best politicians of all time in terms of staying on message.

As far as the OP (and debates), it wouldn't surprise me if Trump was the one that "weaseled out".

 

I notice that trump defenders keep saying things like, "it is obvious that biden has mental decline issues," but you folks never give a single example.

Meanwhile, Trump said doctors were shocked that he could pass a basic cognitive test, he said 99% of virus infections are completely harmless, and he suggested injecting disinfectant as a potential treatment for covid.

And you folks think mental acuity is your strongest talking point? Good luck.

Republicans should be careful about setting the bar so low. Biden will obviously be in the three deabtes agreed upon. Having painted Biden as an incompetent, dementia, brain addled idiot when Biden turns out to be a regular candidate he will 'win' the debate. in the same way that Hillary clearly won her debates with Trump in every way shape and form, but the bar was set so low for Trump that the debates actually turned in his favour.

 

All Trump has to do is remember to wear pants and he's streets ahead of Biden.

I think Trump may try to weasel out of debates, and no doubt he'll try to make it appear that Biden is the one doing it if he does (e.g. by stipulating conditions that Biden won't accept, like crowding thousands of people together and placing them at risk in the midst of the pandemic).

Biden, by his own words, can't wait to share a stage with the orange moron. Personally, I'd buy a ticket to witness that show! Biden will crush him.
