This was happening occasionally before the current unrest. I expect incidents like this. As with Taco Bell more establishments will probably reach a compromise:
I had a friend who was a police officer and he always told me they were weary about eating at restaurants in uniform. I he always figured some police hater in the back would spit in their food or do worse.
Employees who refused to serve customers without masks are within their rights. Should customers without pants be served? Now if they wouldn't serve the police because they were police that is again illegal.
Was it not for the zealous enlightened tolerant progressive liberal democratic employees, they would not have to watch their backs in the food joints.
How ****ing convenient for you not to mention the rest of the story ...The officers say they returned to their vehicles to retrieve masks to comply with the location's mask requirement, FOX 10 reported. Once back inside, they allege multiple employees turned their backs to them and refused to serve them...
It works both ways though, my friend. Back in the day, a lot of Food Joints (that "Hated Hippies") used to "Hawk Loogies" into their Hamburgers, Soup, Etc. That is why (if there is even a doubt) you order your Hamburgers "Plain" (and avoid ordering Salad or Soup).
Welp. Good. I can see not serving them unless they wore a mask, but once they returned with mask, there's really no excuse. They should have seen their pink slips coming from a mile away.
Go educate yourself on what happened. They were refused service WITH masks on. This happened in my little city and the employees all deserved to be fired but I'll give the couple the benefit of the doubt they were intimidated into doing it by the others.
