So, Stone, who lied extensively in court to protect Trump, convicted of 7 felonies, gets his sentence, which was declared fair by Barr, commuted by Trump.

Okay, Trump supporters, explain to me how that isn't corrupt?

Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president.

Stone was over charged and falsely charged. This case should have been thrown out.

If Stone was " overcharged" that means that the charge was valid and hense you agree that he is guilty. To say that he was "overcharged" and simultaneously "falsely " charged is illogical.

Care to explain why he actually deserved what he got?

I bet 95% of the people here can't explain what he did.
(Note I didn't say what statutory offenses he was convicted of, I said what he actually did that constituted a violation of the law and something wrong)

I thought the left was passionate about not sending non violent offenders to prison. Does the left feel threatened with Stone walking the street or just triggered?

Attorney General Barr told Trump he shouldn’t grant Roger Stone clemency

    • An administration official told NBC News that Attorney General William Barr recommended against granting Stone clemency, and the Justice Department had nothing to do with Trump’s decision to commute his sentence.
    • Other White House officials were also opposed to Trump’s decision due to fears of political blowback, including Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, according to a person familiar with the matter.
    • Former special counsel Robert Mueller broke his trademark silence to condemn the president’s rationale for the move, and to defend his investigation.

But, Trump always knows best, being the very stable genius that he clearly is.

President Trump is merciful, obama and clinton were in a cabal of hardened criminals.

our leader is showing mercy while draining the swamp, obama was pardoning and commuting the sentences of career criminals.

Ok, so should a non violent offender be sent to prison? You do know violent offenders are being released from prison because of the China virus.

Roger Stone is an assclown, but how they went after them and what they did to him was wrong. This was the right move.

This is from your OP post:
WASHINGTON — President Trump commuted the sentence of his longtime friend Roger J. Stone Jr. on seven felony crimes on Friday, using the power of his office to spare a former campaign adviser days before Mr. Stone was to report to a federal prison to serve a 40-month term.

Get real. You started a thread about Stone and Trump so deal with it. Don't want to talk about Stone then don't start a thread about Stone. Freakin Democrats sometimes.

They should just be honest. Trump is just using executive privileges Captain Pantsuit will never be able to enjoy and they will never get over that.

So? Depending on what Stone did, Trump may or may not have done anything wrong. You should have obviously been able to see that.

If you can't make a case against Stone, you can't really make a case against Trump here.
