My position is not based on speculation. Blake fought with police officers. They tasered him, in other words they tried to use npn-lethal means to stop Blake. Blake then got up ignoring lawful commands by the police. That makes two strikes. We know know that Blake was armed with a knife. That is strike three. Then Blake reached into the vehicle and attempted pick something up off the floorboard of the vehicle. That was strike four. Four reasons that justified the actions of the police. These facts are clearly displayed in the videos that are available on the internet. Now, you have the choice to believe the facts, or believe the liberal talking points and the insane actions of the terrorist protestors. In case you have not figured it out, the liberal talking point is that no police shooting of African-Americans are justified no matter how much danger the thug puts the police in.

There have been three recent incidents of African-Americans killed by police, and in all three cases the protesters acted on false information. You have stated that the protesters might not be acting on false narrative. Even though the evidence shows otherwise. So, I have ask, do you really condone the actions of the protesters, or do you think their terroristic actions should be stopped by any means necessary?

Control of a civil disturbance such as peaceful, non peaceful protest, looting or rioting needs to be strong, measured, intelligent but ever use an atomic weapon when a company of national guard with tear gas and rubber projectiles can do the job.

Police officers who justifiably feel that their life is endangered by the actions of the person shot. The fact that this happened in front of three kids is on Blake for putting them in that position. There is no justification for Blake's actions especially in front of his kids.

 

<Mod Edit> Kyle was not at his home defending it or himself from a mod. He imposed himself somewhere he should not have gone. Notice I said shouldnot I did not say that he had no right to be there. He created the situation that resulted in two deaths that need not have died, at least not by his hand.

He may have had a defense until he continued to open fire once he was no longer in danger. That will cause him issues.

Why were they chasing him? Is there video before this, if he pulled the weapon then his right to claim self defense evaporates

It is strange to see this defended as self defense when many of the same posters applauding this also defended two armed men chasing down an unarmed black guy and murdering him in the street.

Finally someone with intelligence and common sense to see that there are no good guys here that stupidity regns from rioters, RW vigelantees, looters and violent protesters. There are no winners here. The country losses.

Kyle Rittenhouse acted in self-defense. That is the only relevant fact.

 

It takes more than being a good shot to be a good Marine or any combat serviceman for that matter. A good combat soldier needs to think clearly and not act out of political, racist, or criminal.means. Let him volunteervwhen he is old enough and then "we" will see if he has the right all around stuff.

Rosenbaum was caught ON CAMERA chasing after Rittenhouse, who was trying to escape. Rittenhouse shot Rosenbaum in self defense. Then tried to escape again, only to be pursued AGAIN by more violent ANTIFA/BLM rioters.

Again, this is all on video. There is no question what happened.

Rittenhouse was there to defend property against a violent mob and was forced to shoot several people in self-defense.

End of story.

 

And really, you're putting the danger mildly.
