I showed some of the causes in my first post. A couple more are wage stagnation and middle class jobs being replaced by low-wage jobs.

Low-wage work is more pervasive than you think, and there aren't enough "good jobs" to go around

As shareholder profits increase, workers' wages have stagnated

No, you showed correlates. Correlation is not causation. I am asking you to demonstrate causation. Poverty doesn't make you act a certain way, because you can find plenty of examples of poor people that don't act that way. Black people as a race were poorer under Jim Crow, yet had substantially less criminality. That is significant for your hypothesis. You are going to need to address this. If the poverty is the cause, why was there LOWER criminality under Jim Crow? If you have no answer for this, your hypothesis is done.

When you have nothing useful to say, there are always personal insults I guess.

Clearly these protesters don't have jobs, clearly they are well fed. Many appear obese. They all seem to have expensive smart phones and associated wireless service. When they drive cars they seem to be late model vehicles. They are getting money from somewhere. No, I am no buying the recycled commie arguments about the economy.

I think H.G. Wells had a more accurate vision of all needs being provided.
