Let's see how the site leans. Totally anonymous to others. Who knows about the mods. They are all-knowing.

Had to drop the dog off at the groomer and cruised by my polling place about 10am and for the first time ever line out the door and about 150yds long, maybe 30 minutes wait time. Going back around 2:30 which I hope will be a light time.

For years because of my consulting with government p, I didn’t vote... part of my attempt at remaking neutral give I had to work with the winners. Then, since I started voting I tended to research and vote for candidates of any persuasion that aligned with my thinking or if I had no info on particular candidates running for an office, I left the choice blank, as I did in 2016. This go is the first time I voted a straight party line (I don’t identify with any party), voting GOP, largely because of my complete distaste for the DEM shenanigans of the last 4 years, and not because I have any fondness for TRUMP or the GOP; I voted for the lessor of the evils.

Went back at 2:05, dog was ready see above, line had gone down. Half way through was an election official and I said "looks like I picked a good time" and he yes this was the shortest the line had been. Took 15 minutes to get inside the building and room where voting was taking place, we let some handicapped people break in line a couple of times. 7 minutes to get ID'd and my ballot, to two women working the line were a little chatty could have been quicker, 3 to vote. So in and out in about 25 minutes.

No problem, no one handled my ballot other than the lady who handed the blank ballot to me, I fed it through the machine and saw it tallied.

I showed up at 7AM and there were cars parked a mile down the road so I just went to work. Got off a little early and went back and was in and out.
