5 states set new records for Covid deaths Tuesday

    At least five states ― Alaska, Missouri, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming ― set records for COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.

    And at least 5 states — Colorado, Illinois, Montana, Ohio and Wyoming — also surpassed single-day new caseload records Tuesday. (Wyoming appeared on both superlative lists.) Several other states, such as Pennsylvania, set records for new cases on Monday.

    According to the COVID Tracking Project, which is affiliated with The Atlantic, around 62,000 Americans are currently lying in hospital beds fighting Covid"

    Well too bad because the virus isn't done yet. And the more people like trump lovers resist doing what is necessary, most of all wearing good masks, the longer it will take to recover from this.

    On our way to 3000 deaths a day in 3 to 4 weeks...or sooner.

    Hey, we can have mass burials for Christmas. Woohoo! Nothing says Christmas like mobile morgues and mass graves, don't you think?

    Depending on what happens over the next two months, we might hit a half million dead at the one year mark. That puts this on par with the Spanish Flu of 1918 [650,000 dead] and more dead Americans than in all of WWII, in one year.

    What did trump's despicable spawn say, the number of dead here is nothing... something to that effect.

    No no - don’t you know it is all a hoax - doctors are making it up!

    But honestly - thousands are dying and Trump is sulking Pence is nowhere to be seen and even Jared is MIA as he concentrates on the more important task of consoles in chief

    Another 250,000 deaths by the end of the year is highly unlikely, but another 50,000 is highly likely, and it could easily be more.

    This would have killed a significant number of people under any circumstance, but Trump unquestionably made it worse.

    I'll listen to actual experts. But thanks for trying.

    I don't post opinions. I just post what actual experts say. I know that is a difficult concept for a trump lovers. But guess what, your opinion doesn't mean squat. It is worthless.

    If you're not wearing a mask and social distancing, you are disrespecting the front line workers who are trying their hardest to
    keep the death rate down.

    People are tired of covid restrictions and want to get together for holidays so this is to be expected. Should Trump cancel Christmas? Make it illegal maybe?

    Newsome was a dick for doing that. Hopefully it will cost him any future elections. That DOES NOT, however, excuse the millions
    of Trump supporters from doing the same thing each and every day for the last 5 months.

    Point is those screaming loudest for us to follow strict covid protocol don't do it themselves. What's worse, hypocrisy or believing covid risk is exaggerated?
