If you believe a premise to be true, you must first give attention to the obvious fact that it is debatable, and if it is debatable, then to premise a question upon it is, at the minimum, asking a question with an assumed premise.

The proper order of things goes like this:

First you provide the argument, i.e state your case with either evidence, a sound path of logic, or both, to such a degree that a reasonable person would achieve a meeting of mind with you on the premise (i.e., 'baseless'), and when you have done that, and ONLY when you have done that, Then you can ask the question.

IF your reply goes something like "well, you can't dictate to me how I ask questions", ...okay..... Then my reply is:

It is a far comparison considering what was behind Trumps impeachment. What you tolerate, you condone.

No one should abuse his power. Impeaching someone for abuse is not in itself, an abuse of power. It's a constitutional duty.

 

The impeachment was the abuse of power. It was not done in the interest of justice or the American people. Same with Clinton. In the end, it comes down to the need to reduce government power.

I am not defending Trump. Both parties are getting away with overreach because Americans are too busy fighting among each other. The trick is to get people to oppose abuse even when they agree with what they are doing.
