    That is trump people wanting to return to the 1950s. And in particular, the person responding in this thread about how great the 50s and 60s were.
    But alas, only to white people were they so great.
    Colored were kept to their own bathrooms, drinking fountains, neighborhoods, schools, back of the bus. 2nd and 3rd class citizens.
    Women, need to stay barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. Great times, hey.

    Not societally.
    And the damage was done. It takes generations to undo the generations of redlining.
    And that is if, there's a great effort put forth by the entire country. Which has not happened yet.

    The emerging world of AI and robotics, the result of many years of liberal minded creativity, imagination, and dreams of a better future. It is unfortunate that there are those who use such technology to hoard all the profits.

    I have come to see that perhaps Andrew Yang is right, in that every citizen be given $1000 a month, or more. It could be funded much the same way as Norway funds its operations. That is when a corporation is formed, in its initial stock offering, a portion of the shares are given to the government. The corporation is not taxed, but because the government owns stock, it receives a share of the profits, which is shared among all the people. That way, the more profitable our corporations become, the wealthier all the country becomes, and not just those at the top.

    It has been two generations. How many more do you reckon?

    I wouldn't bet on a great effort, certainly not by the entire country.

    People have been bemoaning racism for all those 50 years. Why should it work now?

    His 2008 campaign promise was to "fundamentally change the United States of America." No one tries to fundamentally change anyone or anything they love.

    Did you know that the largest expansions of government over the last 30 years have ALL taken place under Republican administrations?

    Our economic system???? Do you know anything about the NBA? You're saying China has nothing to do with our large Corporations? Our Political system?? Hunter is being investigated right now connected to China and it's going to lead to the "Big Guy" who is trying to steal the election. Russiagate was just a China distraction for four years. (They always accuse you of what they are doing themselves.. Eric Smartwell (sp?) has been cohorting with a China spy for years. Probably was pretty intimate with her. He's on the Committee that's supposed to monitor that stuff. He has intelligence clearance. You better get on the fast track Dairyair. It's gonna take you by surprise!

    One thing you always will fail to mention....Black Families were far more cohesive then. That is a big thing!! Wouldn't it have been great if we could have kept the Black Family together AND procured equal opportunity?? Oh but Democrats would have none of that. The Welfare State had to be introduced! Government had to grow. Now we are working on turning over the Healthcare to Government. That will thrill Democrats!!

    Have the black neighborhoods been brought out of the poverty that redlining caused?
    You tell me, how many more generations will it take. How has the damage redlining done been changed?
