Federal judge: No surprise 'criminal like Trump pardons other criminals'

Well, trump is the eternal victim, isn't he? All he ever does is whine about people not recognizing his greatness.

 

Yes. Exactly right. He's turned millions of Americans from rational thinking adults, to whiny children.

 

Funny, I didn't read every single post on here, but while I've seen several pointing out that this is a Clinton appointee, I cannot find one who was able to refute a single thing he said....

I hope everybody realizes the worst "pardoning" is still yet to come... including the real criminals....

 

And he should be immediately removed from the bench. Judges are not suppose to be expressing such bias publicly let alone be holding it. The Presidential pardon is a check and balance ON HIM.

 

It's a shame Trump wouldn't take any guidance from The Dept of Justice. They are usually pretty good about finding those with unjust sentences. It's not perfect.

 

Whether he is wrong or right is irrelevant.

He holds an office of impartiality.

Or, at least, he's supposed to.

 

I'm just saying, this kind of outburst would cost most government employees their jobs.

I bet he doesn't lose his, though.

 

I don't disagree. I do disagree that this one statement is anything other than a personal political view, that he could have kept to himself, and probably should have. I don't see it as an ethical violation, though a case perhaps can be made. I know nothing of his history, and if he makes similar statements in the future, then a censure may be appropriate, IMO.

We're viewing the issue similarly, just at different levels of harm.

 

Yup. I see it as harmful, at this particular point in time. Neither side should be giving team other, any fuel to add to this raging fire we've got going right now.

Perhaps at any other time, it would be a throwaway.

 

Agreed, but this isn't exactly front page news. The link is to NBC and I'm guessing other outlets picked up the AP report, but I don't think this one story has any effect on the public as a whole.

It never would. Half the people you see every day don't really know what a federal judge is, and the other half doesn't care. It's something to keep in mind, but only by political junkies like us.

I wonder who else other than criminals this judge thinks get pardons????? Like many other judges we all would be better off if he just stuck to his business.

So according to Criminal-in-Chief Donnie's supporters, the problem is not his criminal behavior, but a federal judge pointing out his criminal behavior.

Presidents are not required to do so but I don't know that he hasn't on all cases.

 

My, how fast do we forget how much **** was thrown at Trump day in and day out? For the 5 years, only the lazy Democrats did not bitch Trump this and Trump that, he was investigated without cause, impeached without cause and yet amassed accomplishments that are not to be repeated in two full terms by any other President.

Trump whining, is of no consequence.

Federal judges should make all their decisions partisan based upon the party of the president that appointed the judge. That way we could know the outcome of any political case with no trial necessary. We would just need to see who appointed the judge.
