My heart goes out to the young kids who have to grow up in Chicago, unless someone intervenes many of them won't have a chance. Those kids will grow up in a war zone where crime and gang activity is a normal way of life. Some may try to do well in school or turn their attention to sports, but that probably won't be the majority of them. The jobs high school kids normally get are gobbled up by illegals and many of them won't get any kind of real job because the school system just moves meat rather than educates them. Also, the peer pressure on a young kid will probably have him join a gang rather than work at a job and loyalty to the gang will make it difficult for him to leave it. And who knows how many teenager girls, looking for acceptance, will find themselves pregnant before they turn 18. Once that happens the chances of having a fruitful and productive life go down the drain.

The first time I visited my ex-wife's family in Mississippi, I was pulled over immediately as I drove through town. The cop asked what we were doing. We told him and he said have a nice day and drive safe.
