Rather than a federal oversight with lockdowns we prefer the freedom to choose on our own. Not sure how what I said was not clear enough

I didn't say it wasn't clear. I asked you to expound on your comment.

We've danced this dance together already.

You nailed it. Some Americans lost it, or never understood it. Our rights are at birth as a human being. We are individuals of free will. Our Constitution is a negative rights document stating what the government cannot intrude on, but so many are weak and just willing to forfeit their rights, while also trying to take everyone else's.

This one seems pretty objectively unjust

These idiots clearly demonstrate that the US doesn’t have a monopoly on producing a minority of morons…

Don't Aussies need a virtually impossible to acquire permit to possess one of those Aboriginal weapons of mass destruction, suitable only for military use?

I am surprised to see any significant resistance from Australians - will probably be short lived.

I have a close friend in Perth. We worked together for a few years and drank more beers and whiskey than I can count in that time. He road bikes and surfs... and he told me he will go to jail before he stops doing either.

Keep your heads up Aussies.... the government was never supposed to rule your lives like this.

Well I think they are treating their citizens like Kangaroo dung but still not as bad as the Aboriginals, so there is that I guess..

Scott Morrison rules out intervening in vaccine mandates for workers as Moderna approved for use in Australia | Australian politics | The Guardian
How Australia went from being a 'Covid-free paradise' to 'a mess'

I guess if you pay the fines it OK ;)
Australian military, police enforcing ‘strict lockdown’ of New South Wales after COVID-19 spike
'We will be issuing $5,000 fines to people ... and will not apologize for these increased enforcement efforts going forward'

Australia deploys helicopters & soldiers to order people to go home in one world’s strictest Covid lockdowns

One thing is a fact, you can run, hide and even get the vaxx but WE WILL ALL contract the virus and SOME of us will not survive :(

Toughing it out in my mind is letting the virus run it's course and letting our immune systems fight and evolve... I don't think forced home prisons are the answer, then again Americans and Australians don't share the same roots either..

I asked a pretty simple question. Do you think Australia is dealing with the Covid situation badly? Yes or no?

You actually didn’t answer my question. You answered a completely different question - one I didn’t ask.
From that answer, I take it that you think Australia is dealing with the Covid situation badly, then.

Well considering Australia has less of a population then say California and can't seem to keep it under control without forcing their citizens to self prison.. I'd say they haven't really changed much from the days of colonization!

That minority of clowns is most definitely not “the people”....most Australians view them as idiots...
