While no one has been arrested yet in connection with this attempted election fraud, Nessel expects authorities to gather more evidence, and that this may have been orchestrated from the highest levels of government.

That is conspiracy to overthrow the govt.

 

According to Rhodes' lawyer, the charges of 'seditious conspiracy' are based on information that the FBI had on Rhodes all the way back in the first half of 2021 when Rhodes voluntarily sat down with them to answer questions. Which means either the FBI has new information that wasn't included in the charges (which means they're trying to sabotage Rhodes' argument for bail) or the information that didn't warrant arrest then suddenly does now, which means they're caving to political pressure to just charge someone with a conspiracy to keep the narrative from coming apart.

Unless they have new evidense that they're hiding from Rhodes' defense, expect the charges to fall apart rather quickly in court.

 

That's exactly what I suspect. It's quite clear to me that they're responding to the MSM concerns and political pressure in ginning up these charges.

I'd thought it all but resolved that 1/6 was a false flag for the Democrats to bemoan rather than actually help our country, particularly as the name Ray Epps became more prominent. They need this to distract from this and other news like Pelosi turning down Trump on enhancing security at the capitol on 1/6.

What are you referring to here? Who is "they"? What was the "plan and action"? Where is it documented? What do you think all of this proves?

Conspiracy to challenge the election results

 

Sending fake certification letters and trying to prevent national certification is not challenging anything.

It is sedition. I hope they all receive the maximum penalty, preferably in the public square. Think the trumpets would let us borrow the noose they had on 1/6?

 

Nothing fake about them. They disputed the election results as state legislators. Nothing was forged.

 

They were not the actual (read as legitimate) electors hence, any document signed by them were forgeries AKA fraud.

 

Sounds to me like it's petitioning the government for a redress of grievances, but without seeing the actual contents of what was sent, it's hard to know for sure. I'm having a hard time imagining a scenario where merely sending a letter to someone that does not directly and explicitly advocate for the imminent overthrow of the US Government would be a criminal act of sedition rather than First Amendment protected speech. Are you familiar with Brandenburg v. Ohio?

 

I see it as a dispute over which part of state government has the legitimate authority to determine the Electors.

 

I am strongly advocating for the death penalty for those found guilty of seditious conspiracy. This is not a small crime. It is a massive crime.

Unfortunately, the maximum penalty for seditious conspiracy is 20 years jail time without probation:
