There would be a lot fewer shootings of black suspects if they wouldn’t try to elude police. Or in this case, try to run them over.

I’m not talking about that. Go back to the bottom of page 1, someone posted a less partial summary.

The article linked to the OP, gives a link to a press conference. That's where it's said that plain clothed people parked with masks came from an unarmed car that boxed in the victim. So there is this, while you got nothing.

You're lying again. it states an unmarked car with plainclothes officers AND a marked unit with uniformed officers made the call. please stop lying, it's obvious you're doing it for virtue signaling and being dishonest is not a virtue.

More of your fake claims exposed. There was a marked police car and an unmarked car and uniformed officers.

No such thing as needing to suspect a crime to ask for your DL in a motor vehicle stop.

Is everyone on the left as out of touch with the law as you are?
Anytime an officer pulls behind your car and turns on his lights, its a motor vehicle stop rather you are sitting there or driving.
My God, how do you even get to work or a grocery store every day?

For ****s sake…I thought we were done with this! Show me the law that says sitting in a non running vehicle is a motor vehicle stop. They were called on a suspicious person sitting in a car. They didn’t pull him over for a traffic violation.

Prove it or just drop it already. I don’t get to work by sitting in a non running vehicle lol

You mean like the two smashed up police cars he drove into. :roflol:

    I just did. wake up.

Yet the family has already come out and said it was the Trenton Police department and are suing the city.
This is how far behind reality you really are.

Its even more safe to say you are either clueless or just lying about it.

So you don't even know what a traffic stop is now? Just wow.
Ever seen a police check point? Asking for DLs and insurance checking for drunk drivers?
You don't really drive, do you.

Wasn't it YOU who quoted Terry v. Ohio regarding temporary detentions requiring only reasonable articulable suspicion? Then you admit they were called on a suspicious person sitting in a car?
Now your arguing against what you posted yourself?
    Thats pretty funny right there

Just going to ignore the DL handbook info I provided you now, is that your argument?
Just going to do roundy rounds because it doesn't fit this idiocy?
If your behind the wheel of a vehicle sitting on a public road you are the operator. Running or not.
I tell ya what. Why don't you get drunk, sit behind the wheel of your car on a public road, and call the cops on yourself so you can find out.
Let us know how that works out for ya.

Did you provide your ID, even though you didn't commit a crime or was suspected of a crime just like EVERYONE else in line did?
    Case closed

A suspicious person in a car isn’t reasonable suspicion of a crime. Anyone can call anything they want suspicious.

Which means everything you posted about you MUST be suspected of a crime to show your DL just went up in flames.
    Sorry for your loss

Jesus man I said 409 times that when driving you must identify. Just stop, I’m done repeating myself to someone who clearly can’t follow along.

    Yet you posted this
Then I showed you how the state DMVs identifies anyone SITTING behind the wheel of a car on any public road as an operator.
You just don't want to get it.

    This is what you posted
if you’re operating a vehicle, you have to produce your license and registration, because operators must have an active, valid driver’s license to drive and the vehicle must have a valid registration to be on the road.

Sitting isn’t operating. You even read what you post?
