In Russia sir no one trust their friends and neighbors the KGB and the new model there of have seen to that. Population collapse is one of the reasons that Russia felt compelled to attempt this obscene gambit.

Which again doesn't make opposing anyone impossible. All they have to do is stop allowing themselves to be led to the boxcars peacefully. It may be difficult, its not impossible. Even the French were able to shake it off, despite the collaborators.

What Russia's attack on Ukraine has proven is Russia is incapable of fighting a conventional war. This is not good news. IF Russia ever felt really threatened they proven to the world ... and more importantly ... to themselves is their only option would be Nuclear. Putin's little expedition has barred his ass and ALL of Russia's; he probably cannot retain power if he doesn't succeed in Eastern Ukraine. Which could mean War III no matter how careful President Biden and NATO are. The West cannot let him win, but he cannot afford to lose.

IF there was ever ANY doubt, we know for sure now that we live in a very dangerous world.

In the beginning of this war everyone was wondering why Russia was using old technology instead of the newer tanks and systems they claimed to have. Now it seems obvious that their new technology is largely disfunctional or doesn't exist.

Don't you think they would have used one of their hypersonic missiles just to show it off? I am doubting they have one at all.

Russia has a quite lengthy history of lets pretend inventions. At this point I begin to wonder what percentage of their nuclear weapons are actually deliverable. Not that anyone rational wants to find out

There's no offramp for Putler here....or not anymore by the looks of it.....he's abandoned any hopes of subduing Kyiv it seems.....that's not good....basically he's pinned all hopes on that in the early stages of the war.....it's failed. Zelensky is still in office....and I'm hearing that several foreign embassies (France is one), are looking to reopen their consular services in the capital shortly...where they were vacated before the war. This could also be a troubled sign for Putler...who knows.

The contact lines will be in the East where hostilities are still active....Donbas in particular.....but the fact remains that supplies from US/NATO will continue from the far Western flank 600 miles almost from any fighting....which is also troubling for Putler. Much of this is advanced weapons, logistical support,$$$$, whatever.....something the Russkis can't equally match ...since heavy sanctions are in place.

It's true and it sank, and the US may have assisted with targeting.

What in the hell: "Senior American officials" leak that US intel directing attacks on Russian generals?
