The number of homicides by guns per year is often in the single digits. I think they average about 10 per year.

We see about 50 per day.

 

He's probably dead already. Sad nevertheless.

 

I don't think China has anything to do with this assassination. Even if so, China will place the blame on the US for smearing China. Since we have a weakling president and administration, Biden will most likely accept China's version.

That's interesting looking. Here is a video of the assassination. That's a sh*t-ton of smoke, way more than you'd normally get from a modern firearm. Given the weird-AF-looking gun, I'm wondering if this is a homemade job, maybe even homemade gunpowder.

 

Looks like two pipes and a bunch of electrical tape. The little wire running along the left side of the gun (top in this picture) makes me suspect it was fired electronically. Basically two pipe bombs taped to a board, just opened on one end to give the blast some direction, and all the shrapnel, or whatever he was using as projectiles, on the inside rather than the outside.

 

Looks like he's dead. He's not breathing and his heart has stopped. Japan seems to take its time in declaring death.

 

According to Japan's PM he is still alive but in critical condition. Hopefully he'll pull through.

ABC report had him as needing CPR. I LIKED Shinzo Abe he always seemed like a decent human being - hope he is OKAY.

 

At least the footage means we'll be spared pages of people claiming the gunman will be muslim, or black, or ANTIFA.

Would be great if I am wrong, but I doubt he is alive.

Since it was a Japanese person, knowing why Japanese typically commit crimes, the motivation was very likely for ideological reasons. There is also a small chance it might have been part of some fringe religious cult.

 

And Japan has finally called it. He'd dead.

You don’t need footage of this in Japan. It’s a homogenous country. Duh. Hence why the violence there is so low.

 

Japanese have no use for "forced" diversity.
