Contrary to the news that the British mercenaries Aslin and Pinner were executed, they have been released alive. Here's a few commentaries on it by Earl Grey from Saint Petersburg. I know that Aslin and Pinner were held by the Donetsk People's Republic and were to be executed. Britain refused to speak to the Republic to save their lives, but I sensed that Putin might intervene. Both were part of the prisoner exchange arranged by Turkey. Worse though, is the release of the Nazi commanders from Avostal who had murdered so many innocent civilians. I have a feeling though that their lives won't be worth much.

This so called mobilization is about to lead to a full scale rebellion by the Russian people. In addition, all those conscriptions of unhappy Russian being forced to be the front lines of their own slaughter will lay down their weapons and surrender or run away at the first sign of battle.

Don't worry, Xi isn't going to invade Taiwan for at least a year or two.
