I thought you on the left didn't like tax handouts for the rich? Funny how you're now complaining having to pay taxes. I always found it hilarious that those lefty states raised taxes and then got the lefty congress to let them write the crazy taxes off their federal taxes. Talk about giving the rich handouts, wow. It's even more sad that there are so many people out there who can't put two and two together and see that this happens every time a democrat is in office or in control of Congress.

 

One thing you learn in grade school is the man in charge is always to blame. One thing you learn in econ 101 and even the most basic finance class in college is that there are very specific ways to fight inflation. Biden and is econ dumbo's have done nothing to lower it. They're great at putting lipstick on a pig and naming spending as inflationary reduction but the facts are the facts. We could've thrown everything at oil and natural gas production and returned to a net exporter, but we played a shell game and reduced our strategic oil reserves. That helped a little but now the shell game is up, and gas is sneaking back up going into the winter. These simple steps done by regulatory action, would have lowered electricity, gas and heating this year and drastically lowered cost of goods, manufacturing costs and inflation, instead he made it harder. Now we're raising taxes on corporations, and of course the result is trickle down taxation where the consumer will pay more. Brilliant, simply brilliant.

 

Yes. January 6th. Still not too fond of attempts to overthrow our democracy, and the violent insurrection wasn't even the worst of it. Meanwhile, no one with two brain cells to rub together is going to blame Biden for global inflation.

Buddy, inflation has been global. That means all over the the globe (which you hopefully realize isn't a flat disk). The US is running roughly in the middle of the pack when it comes to inflation.

 

Tell that to those of us on fixed incomes.
