There's no need for Judge Eileen Cannon to be taken off the case. She did everything by the book. The anti-Trump media and liberal legal pundits want you to think otherwise through deceptive propaganda. Here's the proof it was Jack Smith who revealed the working Grand Jury in DC, not Judge Cannon.

It's been common knowledge for awhile. I think the blowback is for the judge suggesting a strategy for the defense. Just a guess, though.
Get the trial going, let the facts as they may be come out, timelines, etc.
You are participating in Trump's team's strategy, to litigate in the public forum, but only with their twist on it.
They give you tidbits that keep the belief alive.

 

Democrats say Trump will have a fair in a very liberal state yet Smith wasn't sure the Florida grand jury comprised of Floridians would get him his indictment. To ensure he won he brought down his own liberal, Trump hating jurors to Florida. More hypocrisy from the Privileged Class and their minions.

 

Again not sure, but I think they held the grand jury in DC because NARA is based there.
I have no idea if it was kosher or not, but seeing that Smith & co. put it out there from the get go and I have to assume he's not an idiot, there's probably valid reasoning behind it.
I wish the trial was soon to end all the *reckoning*.

 

The judge did no such thing. In her footnote, she put that her order didn't preclude the defense from asking for a 12B if they wanted to. I would think it's fair for everyone to know the ground rules. It'll be hilarious if the defense doesn't actually make such a motion.

The real truth is this: It's not 'Cannon's courtroom', it's supposed to be the DOJ's courtroom. That's how they're viewing this. And that's a perversion of justice, in the highest order.

The DOJ is way too freaking comfortable. We don't want a comfortable DOJ, the prison population will quadruple if the DOJ gets more comfortable.

Grand Jury:
-you cannot use a grand jury to obtain evidence for a trial; it must be used to investigate new crimes or new people.
-in a widespread scheme, that is easy to satisfy, cont. -Not all people and crimes are typically indicted at once, so the grand jury can continue to investigate. This is common practice.
Venue:
-a grand jury can investigate crimes over which it may have jurisdiction.
-a grand jury does not always know in advance: Where a crime occurred, if a crime occurred, or who committed it.
-so a grand jury can look at all that for possible crimes/criminals.
-venue is proper for a grand jury investigation in that district if any part of the possible crime occurred in the grand jury's district....
--Or, in the case of the crime of obstruction of justice, if the obstructed investigation took place in the district where the grand jury is sitting.
-So that is why the MAL documents obstruction could be investigated in FLA or DC grand juries.
