Yes, his delivery was poor but the content was okay. He did not go as hard on Merchant as she deserves. More on that later.

 

So what has that got to do with Trump trying to steal the election ?

 

At the end of the day they're trying to prosecute people for lying to the court and the lead prosecutor admitted to the judge that he committed perjury during the proceedings of this trial. Everything Merchant put in her filing was verified by eye witnesses ahead of time. I found it funny that he objected to claiming Merchant lied saying it wasn't true and then he never updated his Power Point deck which claimed she "LIED, LIED, LIED!" in bold, underlined text. He had an hour to update it, but apparently he doesn't have integrity either which is probably why they picked him. Anna Cross probably walked away because she's done with the charade and she removed her names from the pleadings. She's seen enough evidence that Fani and Wade are lying nows and is probably done. So now they're stuck with Abbate who was getting corrected by the judge for incorrectly citing case law.

 

Fani Willis has already been disqualified from prosecuting this case with another defendant and nobody picked it up after she was disqualified. She singled out one person for early prosecution because he was running for office and she wanted to interfere with his campaign. And now she's doing the same thing to Trump. This is her MO. Most of her charges are nonsense and the goal is election interference, it's not a serious case. If she gets disqualified, again, it's very likely the case dies once assigned to a prosecutor who isn't a political hack. For example, one of the charges is because someone wrote a personal note about ways to legally challenge an election that he never shared with anyone. First time in history someone has been charged for writing a personal note and for Fani, it's a felony charge. It's ridiculous and not serious.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has revealed some of the racist hate mail she has received since taking an election fraud case against Donald Trump.

A sample of hate mail submitted to Judge Scott McAfee included an image of Willis' face in front of a gallows with the words: "I'm past the point of wanting them in prison."

Another page, written in lined writing paper, contains extremely racist language and repeats the n-word numerous times. It ends with the words: "It's going to be fun watching what Trump does to you [expletive] after he's elected. SLAVERY FOREVER."

One page reads, among expletives: "You are guilty of election interference! Watch that family!!! Sell Out!"

 

She testified under oath that the hate mail began before indicting Trump and it is common for DA's which is why another attorney she interviewed did not want the job. He was previously a prosecutor and didn't want this lifestyle for his family again. The entire purpose of leaking this is to persuade the populace in her favor, another potential ethical violation. It has nothing to do with the outcome of the case or any relation to the evidentiary hearings which are about an improper relationship and unreported funds exchanging hands between the DA and the special prosecutor who she hired without board approval or swearing him in.

 

So now, the Co-Chief Deputy District Attorney in Cobb County overheard Fani Willis on the phone with Terrance Bradley (who was with Bradley) in September demanding he not talk to the defense counsel, which likely means Fani lied under oath... again. Also late last week a waiter came forward saying he waited on Wade and Bradley having a meal together during this Ashley Merchant saga, more potential evidence of Wade and Bradley lying under oath... again.

The state legislature has also started issuing subpoenas for their investigation into Fani's corruption, and Merchant is scheduled to testify TOMORROW which will likely make local headlines and put even further pressure on the judge to disqualify.

I watched it all live, thanks Merchant actually did a much better job than I thought and really shows how corrupt she is. The disqualification hearings were just about the relevant information to determine disqualification. This really went into how corrupt Fani and Wade are and all the lies, deceit, and unique nepotism that that has been involved.

 

Just saw your image, and yes it is indefensible. He never itemized anything. And she lied about paying everyone in his firm the same. He made ~66% more per hour. And unlike every other contractor, he didn't itemize his billing in any meaningful way to the point of complete absurdity. It's amazing his pay was approved and probably wouldn't have been it not for his "special" relationship.

 

A new revelation in the matter. Fani and Wade met several times with VP Harris and AG Garland prior to and after her filing charges against Trump. No information yet on what they were meeting about, but it doesn't look good. It's pretty clear what the only possible subject on the agenda could have been. Regardless, these charges were a complete joke from the beginning. The most ridiculous attempt at "lawfare" I've seen occur in the worst Banana Republics in history. This should worry EVERY American. Just the notion they think they could succeed with such a clear weaponization of the DOJ should give everyone pause. The fact she has ZERO integrity was no revelation at all. This was apparent to all but the most biased since the time of her campaign.

It brings into question should any of these charges have been brought AT ALL. And with these two reprehensible lawyers are gone it will be handed to a different and hopefully unbiased not trying to enrich themselves prosecutors who will review and decided how to proceed.

Interesting turn of events. Fani has a waiter from California who recalls her paying a tab in cash and she requested to the reopen evidence so she can add his statement to the record. There was some back and forth about getting this individual under oath and cross-examined, but things have changed.

Since then the defense has had a prosecutor from a neighborhing county willing to testify under oath against Bradley, Wade, Willis saying she has witnessed Fani calling Bradley telling him not to cooperate with the investigation into her and Wade as well as information about Bradley providing false testimony to the court. And then another attorney/law professor also claims to have evidence that Bradley committed perjury to protect Wade and Fani. The defense agreed with Fani and asked for evidence to be reopened so they could include their testimony.

And as it turns out, Fani has had a change of heart and is now petitioning the court to keep evidence closed to prevent these credible witnesses from testifying under oath.

Ooooh Fani. You bring so much joy to our lives.

Yeah, if the facts of this thread were going so poorly for me I'd try to change the subject to talk about Biden's SOTU, blatantly false claims of Trump being a convicted rapist, and a 12 year old's rape. While humourous, it's also kind of sad and pathetic.
