I and the fair minded people of the US clearly see what is going on. It’s the banana republic of New York.

Interesting predictions. The first will definitely happen, but not because of this ruling. The second one is certainly not going to happen.

Trump's gangster background and lies and bribes are merely catching up with him.

WE all pay our fair share .......... Yet you want to give a self professed Billionaire a pass

FBI calculated the annual cost of street-level “property” crime — including larceny, burglary and theft — in 2018 to be around $16 billion. This is a rounding error compared to the $426 billion to $1.7 trillion estimated to be the annual cost of white-collar crime. Even if no blood is shed in a misdemeanor white-collar crime, it can come with a profound social cost. Still, guess which defendant is far more likely to sit in jail for months prior to his trial — either because the law requires it, or because he can’t afford to pay to get himself out?

Trump pays his fair share according to the US Tax code. He is audited by the IRS every year.

    Ok. Thanks for your opinion

That you cannot even answer a simple yes/no question shows how weak it is — but you are still entitled to it.

If you have a point that want to make with regard to your simple question then do so.

So the main claim of fraud is now irrelevant because you nor anyone can give a value. Then you go la la land and say trump said his property is worth 700 trillion. Do better!

Says the guy who can't answer the question posed to him about what's maralago worth? Lord knows you agree with the lawsuit, and we've had a year in court and a year's worth of discussion? At least the judge had the balls to put out a number that makes him look like the biggest partisan fool in our country. On here everyone screams cheat but can't tell us what he actually put on the loan docs, what's the true number, nor who the victim is.

I have already stated I would need additional information to be able to give potential valuations of MAL including accurate rent rolls and projected income. In addition I would need to know any encumbrances and restrictions against the property.

You people are dodging a simple yes no question that doesn’t need additional information to answer. If you believe those are even remotely comparable then — that’s just embarrassingly partisan.

I am not discussing the valuation as I do not know it — you don’t know it — even appraisers have different valuation methods when they have all the data.

What I am discussing is the fraud committed when trump lied on the financial disclosures. Those can be easily verified as lies especially the square footage and testimony against trump showed where he had his staff lie on these forms.

So again, should lying on a loan application be made legal?

I would have to be having a discussion with someone acting in good faith to do that.

No, that would have been far too dangerous for a liberal like me.

We see MAGA who have been manipulated by a gang leader named Trump to riot on Capitol Hill to prevent the transition of power to Joe Biden.

Heavy historical ties to gangsters. He talks like a gangster. His "perfect phone calls" are an example of gangster thuggery.

    https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/05/donald-trump-2016-mob-organized-crime-213910/

Beginning three years earlier, he’d hired mobbed-up firms to erect Trump Tower and his Trump Plaza apartment building in Manhattan, including buying ostensibly overpriced concrete from a company controlled by mafia chieftains Anthony “Fat Tony” Salerno and Paul Castellano.

So you claim to know nothing about valuation are certain that Trumps valuation is inflated? And you complain directly above about others not arguing in good faith? How does that work?

I really don’t know how to use any simpler words to get this through to you.

I am speaking of factual misrepresentation in financial disclosures. Loan / mortgage fraud.

What are you not comprehending here?

If you do not understand what is being discussed You can review this article:
    What Is Mortgage Fraud?

    There was.
Which is why he lost this trail
And why he will lose on appeal

And why you cannot answer if fraud should even be legal or not

Except it was proven in court and testified by witnesses — but sure. Lying about rent rolls, tenant ledgers, gross income, square footage — these are all financial crimes.

I don’t have to tell anyone what you are — it’s apparent.

There was fraud, it’s been shown to you
There was a victim, even if they disagree
And damages are in the half a billion range, and growing.
