Again!!! There is already a border security bill that was passed on 05/16/2024 to is waiting on Schumer to vote on. Ukraine border security should NOT be tied to US border security. It should be a stand alone bill.

You can’t cover everything, but you can easily cover the largest venues. We do it all the time in the U.S. where there are large crowds of people, even without a recent terrorist threat. Go to a professional baseball or football game, or often at the college level, and you’ll see armed police posted in the area. I went to a NASCAR race a couple years ago, and there were armed police there. They can’t cover every store and restaurant, but they can and do cover the large crowds of people who gather for an event.

The Russians should have had the concert venue covered by police or soldiers after receiving the intelligence from the U.S. We have the best intelligence capabilities in the world, and so they should have heeded our warning.

 

So you failed American history. Congratulations! It shows.

 

My only point being that i dont think people realize how hard it is to actually take advantage of "warnings" about possible terrorist attacks. Unless you know a date and a location, it's nearly impossible to act on any warnings. Thanks for the good discussion!
