Don't play that game with me. You know Trump admires Putin. He dared to say in a press conference that he trusts him more than his own intelligence service. Trump has praised Putin - and so many other autocrats - hundreds of times. And this: 52% of MAGA Republicans believe Vladimir Putin is a better president than Joe Biden
I hope you're and equal opportunity critic of alleged Putin lovers. Clinton bashes Trump over Russia praise, but emails show she praised Putin https://www.foxnews.com/politics/cl...ssia-praise-but-emails-show-she-praised-putin Obama praises Russia's Putin before beluga breakfast https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE56657Q/
Unfreaking believable. Those statements were made over 10 years ago! It's fairly obvious you don't know what year it is.
Do you really think that comments about Putin from 15 years ago are equivalent to what Trump says about Putin today? US-Russia relations have undergone significant changes since 2009. The War in Ukraine, dozens of political assassinations, NATO welcoming Sweden and Finland. Trump and the MAGA admire the Putin we know today.
Trump's policies which contributed to higher levels of illegal immigration compared to Obama? The biggest contribution Trump had was that he had the CBP change the definition of encounters so politicians can use it as a talking point.
Putin was a killer then just as he is today. It's funny how the tune you guys sing changes depending on who's playing the music.
We can always count on your posts to redefine the problem with the MAGA mindset. That's a pathetic excuse you've got going on there.
No, there's no comparison to be made. Of course, he was an unsavory man, but he was also an economic partner not only of the US, but of almost every European nation. Nothing like the mad dictator he has become.
My thoughts are, I would be quite surprised if the U.S. shared classified intel with the Russians. I would also be absolutely ****ing shocked if U.S. intelligence agencies knew about the time and place of a terrorist attack on this scale.
Override the will of the people? Isn't Schumer an elected official? Are the democrats who selected him as majority leader also elected? When Republicans killed a bipartisan border deal in february, the main driving force behind that was not an elected official. So tell me who is overriding the will of the people.
The U.S. possesses very good intelligence assets, and we haven’t forgotten about enemies like AQ and ISIS. Maybe next time Putin will listen to us.
The Russians already know that we intercept the communications of our enemies and that we may have operatives who provide human intelligence. The Russians don’t need to know exactly how we got the intelligence. We do not compromise our sources and methods by warning them of an imminent terrorist attack by a bunch of savages. We did the right thing by warning them.
Schumer is overriding the people because the bill was sent to him last may and he won’t even put it up for a vote, you know, democracy in action. I’ll bet Biden told to bury the bill.
Having been warned, it would have been so easy to prevent this attack. A visible platoon of soldiers or tactical police … *smh*
Why not? Even if there was good reason to love Putin, that would still make the people who did so "Putin lovers". The fact remains that there are people on this forum who will automatically defend Putin on topics like this (regardless of whether that defence has any validity or not).
Well it was proven to be correct. The attack happened a few weeks after they were warned. That Putin decided to use the warning as political fodder instead of protecting innocent civilians is an indictment in him.
No. Do you think ISIS talks about "where and when" on phones or on the internet? The ISIS leader who decided the "where and when" was probably the only one to know that until he gave instructions to the shooters on the day of the attack.
Ok, so how useful is that information? Do you think russia should have been able to prevent this based on the information provided to them?
Absolutely, yes. This concert should have had a platoon of soldiers or tactical police spread out around the entrances and inside the venue. Given the warning, this should have been a no brainer.
