Now all he has to do is find someone to put up the bond. I don't think Trump would put up the cash, even if he had it.

There is no way that Truth Social is worth $3B. You're dreaming. They have very little advertising and Trump is basically the only draw. Trump has less than 5 million followers there. Taylor Swift has over 95 million followers on Twitter.

    Truth Social is basically worthless.

That assumes he was going to put up cash to begin with

Sadly, I think that is true. But as any have shown, he is doing this in all of his cases, because if he does get elected, they all stop…..

Of course he wouldn’t. Real estate developers never do, unless they can’t help it.

There is SO MUCH that MAGA just does not know. Funny how that coincides with worshiping a con man.

They cut the bond requirement, not the judgment, if he loses the appeal. She will still go after $464 million dollars (If I read the ruling correctly)

No putting Trump away will save the nation from a threat to its security.

If your body has cancer, I assure you your entire attention will be focused on getting rid of it.

You're welcome to. But I've already stated I don't care if he wins or loses this election because it's really not that important. The winner of this election MIGHT get one scotus appointee. Maybe. The only reason I care to see Trump win this time is to see the epic level of butthurt on the left and to watch them refuse to hand over power in a peaceful transition so we can smash them with absurdly long sentences for crimes like trespassing and use lawfare on our political opponents.

I would actually prefer for the Dems to win this one because the important election is in 2028 when there will be anywhere from 2-4 justices appointed. And having the Dems in power for another four years will almost guarantee that. If Trump wins it's likely the Dems win in 2028 because he's going to go overboard with his vengeance. Which I'm cool with lol

The bond was not lowered “5 or 6 times now”, but you may want to read the law. The laws sets the value required to appeal, based on the fine. the bond was lowered by the appellate court, and im not sure how that possible, but im reading more. The law says the bond must be equal to the fine…..

No the bond hasn't been lowered but Engoron has been overturned 5 times by appeals court in this case alone

I just really sat down to read it, you definitely kicked the turd pile here. Definitely a bad Monday for the true believers ;) I watched Glenn Beck this morning and he had one of the Ex retired high ranking NYC judges on and bottom line, pretty much says what MOST on this site have been saying, this whole shitshow has no victims..

He also stated that these sort of high financial loans have been a general practice for many many years.

He also stated that he doesn't believe it will get past the next judge because of the precedence it will set and the damage it will do to NY financial sector.

But it was dry bone for the left to chew on, in the long run it left their tummies empty ;)

Furthermore you can't engage in disgorgement based upon gross illicit gains. disgorgement awards must be limited to wrongdoers’ net profits as opposed to their gross illicit gains.

And ole Engoron used the "gross illicit gains" calculation. He will be overturned on that alone if they don't just throw out this whole bs case
