The grandson of the owner of the store has been pulled over three times within the last month and the lucky little bastard keeps getting off with warnings even when going 50 in a 35.

I told him that I know a way that he could stop getting pulled over and make sure that he doesn't get pulled over..... He looks at me like yeah, what is it ?

I told him come to a complete stop and use your turn signals and most of all stop speeding and driving recklessly..... I don't know about these kids these days.

Ah yes, not colour blind, just different colours. So a non black and white calf looks odd to them and odd spells caution in prey animals.
    Very interesting, thank you.

yeah, I want to new kid, he rolls stop sign his way to school almost every day. The local cop would give him warnings finally started riding him tickets. Of course the kid would complain every time that he slowed down. Finally, after this been going on for months, the cop stopped him once again for rolling the stop sign. The cop pulled out his night stick and started hitting the kid with it and he ask him. Do you want me to slow down or do you want me to stop?

Just musing on the way back to the office.. saw Tommy O's truck go by, Tommy's been dead for 10 years, his grandson drives it now, but I still think of it as tommys old truck, then there Arturo Ochoas maroon, short narrow Ford pu.. Arturos been dead for twenty years, but I don't think of that truck as Jakes truck.. the owner for the last twenty years. Mine is the old white truck , but everyone knows it belonged to my long dead stepfather. There a few others we identify the same way..it is probably a small town thing.

My friend/neighbor that’s my age has a maroon chevy pickup that his dad drove back in the late ‘90’s. His dad has been gone for several years now. The grandson of the original owner drives the pickup more than anyone now. He’s finishing up college this spring and coming back to work on the family farm.

It’s been a long day. Two different calves ended up in the bathtub. One was born in a puddle of slush, the other one’s mother left it in a bad spot and it got buried in a snow drift. Both are revived and eating well.

You never get through March without a blizzard. Usually it’s a week or two earlier in the month….

Such a different life there. No one here has a car older than 10 years unless its vintage.
I do remember my Dad selling me his Renault 25 (40 years ago) After I while I mentioned to him that it kept breaking down and parts cost a fortune. Yes he said, that's why I got rid of it.
    That was my Dad.

    Speak for yourself.
My VW is 23 years old and passed it's last MOT with no work required.
My mobile kitchen (currently off the road) is 36 years old and my live in truck is 18 years old.

They try to tell you what you are going to say. It is more of a hinderance than a help sometimes, especially when you just hit send and realize the phone just changed a word. A bit aggravating to say the least.

I think the ban on new ICE cars is going to make a lot more people keep a hold of their old cars.
At least until EVs become more affordable.

I agree, especially as the first lot of second hand EV's are not the best.
But its a long way to 10 years time

    That's what deadlines are for.
Baring in mind we are on an American forum. Do you guys have any targets for the adoption of electric vehicles?

One of my happy places. My girlfriend's cancer treatment takes about an hour and a half and this place is just around the corner from the doctor's office. So I kicked back here under the shade and drank a beer. Charlotte harbor on the Peace River, gulf of Mexico can't be too far off.

Australian pine trees always make a nice soft bed of needles and there were some nice Sandy areas where a man might pitch a tent. I know if I was living homeless in that area I would probably consider this spot very strongly. One of those small little forgotten undeveloped places tucked away in Plainview

I bought 6 lavender orpington chickens. I am going to try chickens one more time. If some animal attacks them I am not getting any more chickens. Never ever..

The pecan trees have leafed out here and the local saying is when the pecan trees leaf out cold weather is over.

You inspired me to buy my first phlox plant. Maybe one day it will be big enough to take cuttings from.

I did divide some monkey grass to expand its domination of my landscape LOL so I am at least in the spirit of propagation.
