    Falsehoods meant to inspire fear and superstition and irrational behavior were provided 24/7 by mainstream media, just as Ralph Baric noted.

    Today there are still people who believe the shots to be safe and effective. That is good insight into just how credulous humans can be.

    yeah, the Trump admin lied about a lot of things, that was one of them

    everyone went to the grocery store.... so the Trump shutdown did nothing but hurt the economy and many countries followed our lead

    Well, Darwin will claim them eventually, and most likely not by COVID. If someone is gullible enough to be an antivaxxer, you know they've fallen for all kinds of self-destructive conspiracy theories.

    lol, never know, some say Trump wanted the virus to spread and the reason Trump shutdown the economy is that he knew the economy was failing, and the only way for him to inject trillions into the mega corps was to use the virus crisis to do so, if that did not work, he would blame it on the virus, win\win either way as far as Trump was concerned

    kidding aside, Trump did release the shutdown guidelines, that is just fact

    No he wasn’t. Trump is not a epidemiologist. He relied on Fauci and Birx who recommended a short lockdown to flatten the curve. Democratic governors shut down the economies of their states.
