Are you really this dense or just being obtuse on purpose because you are wrong again. The point is that "AS A MAJORITY" or most in a group. Of course there are idiots in all walks of life, but it seems that the majority are the evangelical protestants.
You have to be pretty stupid to not already know that evangelical protestants would most likely have the highest incidence of those opposed to abortion. While the other groups mentioned, either have no religion or contain members who identify with the religion but are only marginally religious, evangelicals, by their very nature are highly religious. These are people who believe they have had a religious experience, ie, been born again. They tend to attend church more regularly, take their religion more seriously and allow it to bleed over into their everyday lives to a greater extent. Why would they not be more opposed to abortion than members of other groups?

In the least one would expect then that the number of abortions in that group to be minimal and of course it is not. 37% of women whoa have abortions profess to be protestant. But more importantly, if as you say they are "more religious" why should a secular society allow them to influence the laws of the land?
